        Remember 5000mah is only 19Wh.

              just give us solid state batteries already, or anything other than li-po (provided that is better).

                  And will use space savings for making phone slim rather than additional capacity.

                        Usually batteries that have 10% more capacity tend to also be 10% larger... Silicon is/can be used for anode part of the battery and if they fit 3x more of it inside it probably means they made anode larger. Having cathode/anode larger means larger surface area and usually allows faster/higher charge or discharge rates, not necessarily higher capacities. Capacity is almost directly linked to capacity or volume of lithium inside the battery (the energy storage part of the battery cell). We'd have to use some different substance instead of lithium to achieve that. So far we haven't discovered it yet.
