And there was recently a article showing that all Samsung devices that are equipped with an Exynos-CPU perform worse in picture quality compared to the Snapdragon-versions of the same device. So the EU gets the Exynos chips because no one else wants them! They are massive trash!!!

                  That's why they hold all of the exynos units for Europe and even south Korea won't get it

                    Need more competitions in chip department. More and more companies are getting in soc and isp department. Few year ago we only had one chip company for flagship devices which was snapdragon. Now we have mediatek, exynos by Samsung, kirin by Huawei, tensor by Google.

                        They dub it as "NPU" but essentially all of the featured functionalities seem to be related to photo/videography, implying that this thing will essentially act as an external image processing chip for next year's Find X4 series.

                        With Huawei fading from the limelight, Oppo is quickly turning into one of few companies that push the smartphone imaging technology forward by self-developing everything from software algorithms to dedicated hardware accelerators and even featuring a custom Sony/Samsung sensor to push the boundary even further. Huge kudos to them.
