Yeah, "blah blah it has the highest benchmark score", then when you play a more demanding game, your hands are dripping with sweat from the heat and you get enraged by lags because no one is optimizing games for your processor.

I don't give a damn if this CPU can power the next ship going to Mars. Why would never buy MediaTek powered phones is because of support, primarily custom ROM and GCam support since they do not make their kernels public unlike Snapdragon CPUs

P series was almost as good as their 6xx/7xx counterparts.
It is their top tier chips that have always been failure.
Also, G series (that replaces P series) has many crap chips.
One of them is a lower clocked version of P35 despite being newer chip. What's point of this?

Mediatek is overtaking our snappy dragon and holy exin toss ! Guys plz come up with a new fu**ing better chip ! We shouldn't lose to mediatek !

Not sure what all the extra AI scores will be beneficial for. IP will improve image quality, if the Image Sensor, Plastic/ Glass Lenses and Computational Photography Algorithms are good.

Well mediatek were caught faking benchmark scores before, so I wouldn't be too excited for this.
Plus, GPU, CPU scores are more important for a smartphone.
