Great lens (not the same as used on k850 or c902) great fetures too. Cant wait for it. the difference betwen n95 and c905 is like Windows 2000 with Windows Vista . Long life SE

noise level is high...even in low ISO...image arent sharp enough... maybe causes by cheap lens...color is not correct nor vivid....really sick of it...exposure not really good ....can say is.. it wont take batter picture then 3.2MP N73...but... it's jus sample...lets wait for real product...

Ok, everybody, now PAY ATTENTION!!!!
The Megapixels count doesn´t make the good quality on pictures. The more megapixels you have the bigger picture you'll have without having to stretch out the pic. So, you will only see this when are about to print out you pictures. On your pc monitor you won't notice the difference between a 3mpx vs 8mpx.
And for your info what makes good pictures is the Optics, Lens & Image Sensor.
Why do you think that Nokia uses Carl Zeiss Optics with Tessar Lens???? Because those are 1 of the best optics in the world for cameras. (Not the Best but 1 of the best)
If you really know about photography you will know what I'm talking about. That's why I don't get excited about 8Mpx if SE will use crappy sensors, lens and optics. (like K850, C902)
Let´s wait until this comes out and let's see a few reviews done the the webpages that we trust and then judge.
Not a Nokia fan boy but if this cellphone uses the same optics as K850, C902 it's gonna be the same crap as those 2 mentioned before. And N95 & N82 will still have a better picture quality than this.

why sony ericsson not use carl zeiss lens?
maybe why nokia it uses...but then sony ericsson can use leica lens ;)

well i was impressed that sony ericsson made the first step to break the wall of 5 megapixels. i really like this phone because its like w910 which i wanted to buy but i didnt because of not so good features. now i was thinking to buy nokia n96 but i started thinking of c905. what do you think? i cannot choose because both phones are AMAZING. please help me!!!!!!!!!

thats a fairly shocking example of images, its not the mpx count which makes the picture good.

I am sorry i am a SE fan and i know that them pictures are nowhere close to 8mp if they where they couldent be as grany and messeg up my k850 takes far better pictures than whats posted on here even useing zoom on it dont go that bad unless i realy zoom right in which is not needed. Wounder if theses pic's are real or fake because there is no word of this coming out c905 is this not the same as the q440 in the clips ??????????

Honestly, the noise on the sample pictures is waaayyy too much. SE really needs to work on the compression algorithm. More MP isn't worth much if you wind up with ugly pictures like that.

i dont care if its 800 megapixels, picture way too grainy, noisy.
i've seen better picture quality on a 5 megapixel cameraphone.

YEP! In the future I want to work for SE! Probably someday... 8mpx... :x
I'm wondering what are Nokia going to do now? Well, the W-series of SE are my weakness.. so I'm glad that they are the 1-st with 8mpx camera on a mobile! Although the pictures taken with CiberShot (phone or camera) are mostly in blue shades..................
Bout the design, it reminds me of W910 - flat and wide :)))

The white balance isn't the greatest, but SE always has had it's issues with that. I'm sure they'll fix this in the final version. Pretty happy with the preview!!!
