so many ppl have said this is a PROTOTYPE
but u continously say "oh the camera sucks"
well obviously its not finished yet
your all so quick to jump on the crappy camera bandwagon its beyond the joke, wake up losers and read its only a PROTOTYPE
not the finished product!!!!!!!!!
im sure if nokia presented crappy pics from its UNFINISHED PROTOTYPE u would all praise it and drop to ur knees!!

i love how everyone says "who wants a 8mp in a phone"
well i do, i like having just one device to do all my jobs
so far my k850 does everything apart from gps, so the c905 will be my next fone. who really cares about 3.5mm jack when the hpm-82 has a jack that is changable!!!
here is what i want from a PHONE
1st to make and receive calls,sms, camera with flash and autofoucus and face detection, accelometer (just for fun)
email and internet(wifi will help here)
large screen made of scratch proof glass(i had scratched fones)
mp3 player(must have micro sd or m2 slot or built in hdd)
pic when someone rings and assigned tones
great themes that are user customisable
gps (free gps not just Assisted gps)
looks arent really a problem coz its just a fone
games dont bother me coz i only play em wen im sittin on the dunny
radio is just an added bonus
a light like on the k850, so far this has been a life saver
video quality could be better than k850 but its ok for the little amount of video recording that i do
so as u can see here k850 is great to me so the c905 will be ultimate for me, i know n95 and n96 and n85 and all the other nokias can do all those things but i dislike the build quality of nokias, cheap plastic is bad, and i also hate s60, its ugly and crashes frequently and did i mention ugly, and the themes r ugly. so go sony so, make us proud and take ur time achieving the best from this fone. screw samsung and motorola they are more like childs toys, samsung r too busy with stupid icons and xylofone sounds than makin real fones with funcionability

It's a good looking phone. Not quite sure why anyone would need 8 mp in a phone though? Obviously the photo samples aren't anywhere near final, they look terrible. If the VGA video recording is up to N95's standard, then I'd definitely consider getting one. Don't know why SE have neglected video in the past.

this is a prototype, which is why the pictures are somewhat washed out... just wait for the production unit: it'll blow all your cameras out of the water, nokia, samsung, whatever.

this cybershot has a very poor image quality!!, very soft pictures and very bad color balance, contrast, shadow and highlights...very worst! they must develop more on the optics and processor rather than racing on pixels. 3MP is enough.

yeah those pics aren't great at all, but it's very very early to judge the quality, that just gives you an idea of size and what not
can't wait for future updates on this phone, i'm going to buy it asap and be the 1st one to have 8.1 mp camera phone in my area lol

I must agree its 5mpx camera quality. I though every manufacturer would have waited and mastered the best quality 5mpx possible then move on to higher 1's instead they are just adding more pixels with no extra quality very poor idea.

oky oky boys , every make haz its probs , nokia freeze, samsung speakers and bat. life sucks . motorola is a prob itself lmao, but sony is gr8 ,the phone looks beta than the n81 anyway and laods more featchers than the n95, if it has symb. than it is a winner
