If you nokia fanatics doesnt like this phone and are jealous of it then please dont enter this forum. One and only thing i want to say is that sony ericsson have manufactured this phone not the nokia. I goes feeling jealous of the sony ericsson they can manufacture a 8mp crap(crap, crap, crap.:) camera.
LONG LIVE SONY ERICSSON.

being a nokia fan i am very disappointed by nokia which released its set of phones yesterday with not much inclusion in its mere n-series. i thought nokia would release the phone first but the sony ericsson has done it again. Making a 8megapixel will not be easy for nokia because sony has its company which also manufactures digital cameras(cybershots) and i guess nokia dont. It would be something special from nokia to beat this phone.

16M of colors, who care about this?? The w580 screen is better than any nokia screen with only 262K of colors, and many samsung and SE screens are better than top nokia screen with their mediocre 16M.

the reason why se should increase the MP's in their cybershot phones is bcos there to many phones with 5MP and those phone are not camera-oriented phones.so they(SE) should increase the MP's to make their cybershot phones to be more superior and very looking up to this one bcos it is almost complete for camera phone.I've been using the K850i,and this C905 is going to be a great successor to the K850i and the c902.peace:)

I have owned oodles of phones (an oodle is approx half a noodle, and about three times the size of a small poodle), anyway, recently I have had the pleasure of owning a K800i (three in fact, each died in succession, so I swapped for an N95 8G Black two weeks ago), but anyway, for the 6 months or so I owned my series of K800is, I found them excellent in all respects, except for the things that the N95 (8G) does better. a) 3.5mm audio jack (so convenient!), b) great video recording (really is almost DVD quality, if a little wobbly for some reason) c) True multi-tasking, so you can have multiple apps running at the same time (8GB does help course!) and a more friendly SMS message length display. But the bottom line is that the K800i (and other similar phones from SE) have a more intelligent OS (it responds to events better, such as offering to save the components of a text message as a contact if it detects a phone number in the message etc), a way nicer GUI (even with skins, the Nokia is totally inconsistent - 3 different gallery views - only one that is actually fast and practical) - and while the still camera on the N95 is very very good, I have just checked my iPhotos and my top K800i pics offer way less blotchy and more detailed images than my best N95 images. The N95 is good for stills, don't get me wrong, but it is the video where it wins, and it will be great to see how the C905 performs. I had planned on flogging the N95 to get the 3G iPhone, but it is a massive let down (expected a decent camera with video at the very least, and stereo Bluetooth!), so I'm prob going to hold on to the N95 and wait for the C902, which appears to be the logical successor to the K800i in styling and camera quality. I just hope it is more reliable than my K800i units and retains the excellent RDS Radio of the K800i. BTW, from what I understand, there is a flaw in some builds of the K800i software that causes them to re-start when viewing specific entries in the address book. My view on the whole Nokia/SE thing? They each have their pros and cons. But I think SE win on styling and built quality, while Nokia have the advantage of a fairly sophisticated OS on their higher end phones. (BTW2, the Nokia Maps 2.0 app on my N95 is great, slow to lock on, but once working, really very good.) Hope SE put something like it in the C902! "Turn right at the next election..." :-)

Anonymous, 11 Jun 2008you said that more than 256K color does not make difference... moreThe capability of the screen has absolutely no effect on the actual pictures themselves. The camera of the phone is not limited to the specifications of the screen, otherwise you'd have QVGA resolution pictures. Pictures displayed on my K790 look stunning with no jarring edges anywhere, so I don't see what the problem is. People don't seem to understand that 262,144 is a VERY high number of colors. More colors than this causes the processor to work harder, which hurts the battery and causes phones to lag when moving through the UI, like the many Nokias I have used.

the phone that i dream of....and it will not be the same lens as the k series, just look how the thickness of the camera location, it actually thicker then the rest of the body, it got to be a powerful lens and modules
