Hopefully the smaller screen is a sign of an industry-wide shift. Samsung has been your only option for a pocketable android phone for years, with everyone else going with 6.4" on even bigger screens.

Shadocx, 23 Dec 2021And not everybody has big hands, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11... moreThat's true. Too bad there is no Android equivalent of the iPhone mini. I don't use iOS or that perhaps would have been my phone

Hope their advertised faster image processing can work well to capture images of moving subjects similar to Huawei flagships. The shutter speed of current Xiaomi flagships is a weakness at least compared to Huawei flagship phones which are much better for taking pictures of moving subjects (even older Huawei and Honor phones like the mate 30 pro and Honor v30 pro have a lot faster shutter speed than the Xiaomi 11 ultra).

Mobiles under 6 inch display are good enough. We can carry them in our pocket.

I love the phone but I hate when they compare their phone with other brand. Kinda low class company style. The more u compare, the more u show other brand is way better. Or u assume customer is stupid enough and need ur help to show them?

Shadocx, 23 Dec 2021It must be written in another article then, because I can... moreIt's more or less confirmed that the Xiaomi 12 will have a fhd+ display from a local supplier (probably Huaxing optoelectronics/CSOT) so it's definitely a downgraded screen. The battery also won't be too large though so a QHD screen would probably result in terrible battery life with the new snapdragon chip. Hopefully they've upgraded the cameras significantly with the large cost savings on the screen.

Anonymous, 22 Dec 2021And of course the ugly selfie camera pinhole is present. UDC phones will launch in 2023...by almost all companies. Until that time they are trying to squeeze as much profits as possible from pin hole display phones.

It's about time one of the major Android brands introduced a smaller phone (relatively speaking). Just wish Samsung would do the same with their mid-range A series.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2021Speak for yourself, not everybody has small hands .6.8 inch... moreNot everyone carries their phone in their hand all day. Some prefer to carry them in their trouser pockets, and not all pockets are big enough to store such large phones, and can be uncomfortable, especially when doing things that are physical, such as manual work etc.

Anonymous, 23 Dec 2021Speak for yourself, not everybody has small hands .6.8 inch... moreAnd not everybody has big hands, the Xiaomi Mi 10 and Mi 11 were huge, since most phones are big you have a lot of choice, now it's time to think about the people with smaller hands, they exist too...
