Samsung Galaxy A53 to have two chipset versions

22 December 2021
Think of something similar to what's usually happening with the S series of flagships.

-Also Qualcomm modems are better than rivals, Many test were done before.
-Better software support, Qualcomm do release source codes to developers, thats why things like Overclocking are not strange for qualcomm chips.

To average user no difference between modern mediatek/Exynos/snapdragon soc but to powerusers you need Snapdragon soc.

It used to suck to have Exynos few years ago (mostly for us Europeans), but since Galaxy S21 series and introduction of E2100, I see absolutely nothing wrong with it.

                          After buying m31
I'm not going to buy samsung ever in my life...
Even i had read review that in many models of samsung has that hanging issue so a big no to samsung from my side if u want to invest such amount then go for some other mobile company...

Narazumono, 23 Dec 2021Yeah i really wish Exynos was as good as the Snapdragon but... moreSnapdragon SOCs have nothing in special and is over-hyped for what it really is just like Intel vs AMD CPUs on the computers. Their processors tend to have performance edge in graphics heavy games due to having slightly better GPU. But those who doesn't game intense 3D games it doesn't really matter what SOC is in your phone. Exynos have very good mid-range processors its only on the high end segment Snapdragon edges them out in performance but it costs lot of money and certainly not value for money. The Exynos 9611 on my M21 gives me a good 2 day battery life with moderate usage and there is literally nothing wrong with my Exynos.

Pumpino, 23 Dec 2021In what way is the A52s 5G a better buy than the S20 FE? Or... moreWhen I talk about a "flagship killer" I use that term in the sense that Samsung, Google, and OnePlus used in the past. These are devices that have no big drawback or deal-breaker, and they offer +90% or more of the flagship experience, but for -60% or less of the price.

There are great options from Xiaomi, Redmi, and Realme too. But these are mostly just midrange phones with upgraded chipsets, as they lack an all-round polish that luxury devices get.

The best three high-end (NOT luxury) options you can buy in Q3 2021 are the:
                              2020 OnePlus 8t
                              2020-based Samsung S20-fe
                              2021 Samsung A52-s
                              https://www.gsmarena.com/compare.php3?idPhone1=11039&idPhone2=10420&idPhone3=10428

The S20-fe is a great device, and very very similar to the A52-s. The biggest difference between the two is that the S20-fe gives you Reverse Wireless Charging, USB 3.1, and DeX functionality. The A52-s gives you a Headphone Jack, and has +1 year extra of software updates. The differences in their display, cameras, and chipsets are too small to make a meaningful difference. For example, the QSD 778 is faster than the Exynos 990 but slower than the QSD 865, but all three are in the same tier of performance.

Also the S20-fe is great price, but the A52-s wins here too. It was only USD $300 a few weeks ago which is a steal.

Exynos: Uses current generation AMD RDNA2 graphics.

I bet all of those buying these with that RDNA2 goodness will be as unhappy as you are.

Idk if anyone noticed but the sim card tray on this phone is on the bottom left, where the jack used to be, this means they also removed the SD card slot. Looks like Scamsung's greed is spreading over to the mid range phones as well
