The throttling issues are also due to the thermals in question for each device.
Gaming phones like mine... With fans and liquid cooling will cruise with 8gen 1 at an almost 99% effectiveness for hours...
People using a non gaming phone for gaming is strange?
If you like gaming. Get a gaming phone. That's what they are designed for?
Hence the insane cooling systems on board.

According to some tech sites, Snapdragon really dropped the ball with the 8 gen 1. It's barely an improvement over the 888+, and it still suffers from throttling and overheating. I know some fans are going to be salty but Mediatek has done the "impossible". They developed a better, more powerful chip that has better-sustained performance! If I had the money, I would wait for the Find X4 (5?).
