They are likely just going to leapfrog over each other until someone shows up with an arm processor powerful and cheap enough to make a dent in the x86-64 duopoly

Hi, I am Chris Slambery your article “AMD announces Ryzen 6000 mobile platform, Ryzen 5800X3D CPU” is very helpful for me. After reading your article I got a lot of knowledge from your article. I have some knowledge about Laptop CPU but after reading your article I think; I have to gain more knowledge about this topic. Thanks!

The days of these processors are numbered. ARM is the future of computing.

If it is, then do be aware AMD also explicitly listed those applications during their presentation, and even highlighted them in an exclusive processor made for the Thinkpad Z13.

let me guess, one laptop that arrives in August to short supply will house the 6600u or 6800u chip. I guess AMD is afraid of flying.

Looks interesting and pomising but way too costly.
I miss that old good times where everything was really cheap.
Wish we have prices like 100 years ago but with current wages.

I think the human race is rapidly falling off a cliff when the most important improvement in CPU efficiency is for watching Netflix.

I wonder how rare these chips will be. I just got my ryzen 5000 series laptop on october after months of waiting while intel 11th gen laptops had been staring at my face the whole time.

I'm interested in the future versions of this. I will be all over this once they can get an upper mid range CPU and a mid range gpu on the same chip. Something to the effect of the Ryzen 5900X + Radeon 6700 XT.

Well, still waiting for Intel ARC desktop GPU's... the only hope i have, is maybe - maybe it will push a little down the prices of graphics cards because competition.
