M1 Pro and Max is rated up to 30W, however since it's quite dynamie it could go as low as 8W. Check up Anandtech's review of it.

Nope, 28W Alder Lake is the P variant and yes it beaten the M1 regular, but not the M1 Pro and Max. The one that beaten the M1 Pro/Max is the 45W Alder Lake H mobile series.

IMO getting high thread-count CPUs / SoCs into mobile devices is definitely a good thing. M1 is impressive, but unfortunately you can't run every thing on ARM or Mac OS. x86 is still king for software availability.

New generation uses ARM processors almost exclusively. They won't grow up and suddenly ask for the kind of computers their ancestors had. Work would change to fit their needs.

X86 is not holding us back anymore. It and the segment it represents is slowly dying it is all... Good riddance. 50 years in the realm of tech are too many... Bye

The one that I'm talking earlier is M1 Pro and Max duo, which has higher TDP (but remember it's quite dynamic so it depending on the use https://www.anandtech.com/show/17024/apple-m1-max-performance-review/3 )

Intel always has been on 45W for their higher end mobile CPU. The problem is that Apple's is a SoC packet (CPU, GPU, RAM, basically almost the whole system as it says "system on chip") so 90W is as much as it gets as the whole system. On PC you need to add that 45W with other stuff, especially GPU, which eats way higher even mobile ones, for example the latest n gratest RTX 3080 mobile can ate up to 190W. PC version is even higher at 300ish watt.
