It's a joke ? There was no flagship Note series (N20) below 256 Gb in 2021 and flagship S series (S21) below 12 Gb, and now it is going to be even more expensive! It's a regress. Goodbye.

Even phone arena (site that lo... moreLens coating on outer glass is a different application. It is used to reduce ghosting and flare under challenging lighting. Scenarios with challenging lighting is only a small part of photography.
It was ambiguous because they are calling it as superclear 'lens'. The 'lens' part usually doesn't count the outer protective glass. It would make a difference in all conditions if some of the elements are made of actual glass.

Coating is not strong glass. Zeiss has provided this for tons of years on their lenses.
Samsung wants to be like Apple.
Copy something, but with new name to pretend it is new.
Then spend millions to advertise like they created.

Superclear lens... just for one sensor. Should be for all, it is Ultra device after all.

Rkm, 05 Jan 2022Sorry, are you suggesting that plastic lens elements are be... moreDo not bother. People here for unknown reason think plastic lenses are on pair or even better than glass. They also state they can resolve 50, 60, or even 200MP.
It is weird when you check Dng files and they have much lower texture compared to jpeg, which it is clear sign of too much sharpening being used.
Also, photos of phones on fancy high quality 4K monitors look all crap.
No matter the phone.
Only way to change this is of they drop multi cam setup and use larger single camera (1" or bigger" with all 6-7 elements of glass.

Not one of the elements inside of the cam module.
Otherwise, there would be no need to have it as gorilla glass.
