Lol stop lying just because Xperia's screen using LG OLED in many of their flagship. Even on Pixel 1 & 2 there are tonnes of screen tint issue, using LG screen as well. Really, what world & era do u live in? 😂😂😂

AnonD-977150, 08 Jan 2022Does anyone buy Sony phones anymore?Yes. They actually made a lot of money this generation, i almost didn't get the frost purple model, they sold out within hours on Black Friday.
They have a decent back camera, 30w charger in box, headphone jack, 4k display, 21:9 screen, dual sim card slot, SD card slot, very close to stock android OS, 5G capable, and up to date hardware specs.
It's literally the phone everyone wish you could just buy at your carrier store.
The only complaints I have is the front camera isnt the best and you can't changed the display resolution to conserve your battery life.
I upgraded from a 1tb S10 plus and love it.

That looks like made by a child.
MiUI and OneUI use that shape because of the iOS.
Xiaomi and Samsung are biggest Apple fans.
Instead of forgetting Apple exists, they are in love.
All these modifications are one of many reasons samsung phones are way slower , despite using same cpu.

Why would they mod... moreSony doesn't just add their stuff, its Android 11 skin was quite different from AOSP Android 11, with more dated looking UI elements prevalent across the interface. It's a bizzare mishmash of different older generations of Android, complete by its own icon set from Lollipop era. What is more surprising is that some apps like Youtube are still treated with a semi transparent notification bar carried over from Kitkat, it is just all over the place and makes me appreciate how much better job Samsung, Xiaomi and Oppo are doing in this regard.
I do not know what makes you think rounded squares look more childish than circles, or customizable widgets and notification panel closely following Google's Material You design guideline are worse than Sony's awful approaches that have no sense of consistency. You should try out phones from other brands more to get more insights.

They've only commited to 1 major android version for the MK3. Which is part of the reason why I'm not buying a Sony - they'd look great otherwise.
