OnePlus Ten was announced in 2015.
That is why only 10 Pro is here.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2022Last week you swore I was wrong about OP10 Pro when samples... moreThe ceiling part was what I literally *agreed* with you on, this is why I'm telling you to READ. There, I said that I saw what you meant and I found it odd - I didn't deny your findings, didn't I?

Now you're trying to prove that a free-form lens doesn't exist based on the fact that OnePlus 10 Pro has a UWA lens with a fish-eye distortion, which makes no sense given OnePlus doesn't even claim that 10 Pro has a free-form lens to begin with. You're simply bending what companies say in the way you *want to* interpret, just like you put words in other people's mouths all the time.

I ask you one more time - if you even can't read or remember what I say, then stop wasting my time by sending me a bunch of pointless replies.

My safe bet that one of the oppo find x5 model will use the same setup..

OnePlus is simply cutting costs, that is all.

I guess people still buy some of their phones, so they squeeze till they can. With such a "development" and cutting corners, literally minimal upgrades, not improving on things since two gen older models or even downgrades, it would seem like OnePlus is either really, really cheaping out, or simply preping for OnePlus closing, since Oppo is taking over.

8 Pro was the best OnePlus phone overall, it improved on all aspects and was the best OnePlus phone that they ever made, specially as it was finally a flagship with proper camera.

Rkm, 11 Jan 2022The irony is that jn1 has almost all the features of flagsh... moreSensor features or not, it is tiny sensor, smaller than IMX363 that Pixels used for years, and sensor size matters a lot, for dynamic range, real detail and mostly in important for not so great light conditions.

Sensors going above 2" size made huge improvements is low light conditions, and I am not talking about night mode, but strictly low light, not perfect conditions, shadows and dark areas, and now this sensor is only 2.7" size, even 8 Pro had a better Ultra-Wide if speaking honestly, while this sensor is made for mid-range phones and selfie cameras.

So 10 Pro is actually a downgrade in therms of camera, not to mention having Hasselblad for second year.
10 Pro literally trades high end Ultra-Wide sensor from 9 Pro which had the best Ultra-Wide on the market, now to tiny sensor which is meant for mid-range phones and selfie cameras, even 8 Pro had literally better Ultra-Wide than 10 Pro. Also still having crappy 8MP sensor for telephoto since 7 Pro, which cant even be used for shooting video, but rather digital crop on main sensor when shooting video and zooming, while 7 Pro, 8 Pro could use telephoto for zoom while shooting a video, in this part 9 Pro was already a downgrade.

OnePlus promised with 10 Pro to finally have a periscope with 10 Pro. Also second year of "color balance" from Hasselblad, nice, where are the promises of Bionic Lens? no better optics at all. Like what is happening... Phone is literally not improving since 7 Pro in some parts.

When this phone comes out globally, it literally is the lower tear flagship, like in between Pixel 6 and S22 FE, maybe regular S22, I can not be priced at 1000 dollars/euros, like 8 Pro and 9 Pro was, it is literally somewhat same parts, some minimal improvements and even downgrades compared to previous 8Pro and 9Pro.

Anonymous, 11 Jan 2022Oh, same 150 degree used by Realme. Same JN1 used by Real... more"But the lens is different according to you"

It would be actually better to use older imx 586 gen sensors on budget phones with their weak isps.
