      The calibration and brightness of the XR's display is way ahead of those LCD panels used on cheap Xiaomi and Realme phones. I know it because the 1080p display on my Redmi 5 Plus isn't even on the same level as the panel on my iPhone 7 Plus, let alone the XR.
      Not all LCDs are created equal. I'd take the 720p XR's display over the 1440p LCD of the 2014 LG G3, just so you know.....

                iPhone 14 is going to be awesome. I won’t upgrade from 13 pro max though.

                                        It's unfortunate that you have issues with strobing light, but there's pretty much no other way around it to solve this.
