                  😳😳😳

Sounds good on paper. The Edge+ from 2020 was pretty good. This "Frontier" seems like a true successor to it.

Motorola flagships have a satisfying feeling to them. They are one of the less annoying phones to use for long-term usage. I guess it's due to the combination of decent hardware backed by good software (stock android with Moto's essential customizations). So i for one want them to continue making phones unlike what happened to LG & HTC.

Motorola UI no thx no matter what.
Most laggy unstable i ever tried.

Anonymous, 15 Jan 2022My mind is completely blown by the 200MP sensor.1/1.56" sensor.

16 neighbor pixels with same colour filter.
Options to read signal of 16 as 1 and 4 as 1 ..
                            Outputs 50 and 12.5MP.

YUKI93, 15 Jan 2022"However, this might actually not be exactly the same ... moreSamsung is not going to be able to make all chips alone.
So after April, part of the chips will be made at TSMC.

Anyway, Qualcomm is about to choose samsung to make 8Gen2 because koreans offer better prices than the taiwanese.

Samsung has made most of the 6xx and 7xx chips. It is not manufacturing process that causes heat. It is chip design.

It is said that core X3 shall spend even more power than X2. Without significant improvent.

But slow, unstable and buggy ui. And let's not forget the worst invention ever made, edged screen.

IpsDisplay, 15 Jan 2022And in Motorola fashion they will be first with the WORST q... moreI don't know if there is a huge difference in heat generation between the x30 and others. Saw Chinese comparisons between it the Realme gt2 pro, the Vivo Iqoo 9 pro and the moto x30. Moto ended up being the hottest, with a peak temperature of 1 degree above both the Iqoo and Xiaomi but 3 degrees above the coolest of the 3, the gt2 pro. Anyway none of the snapdragon 8 gen 1 phones are going to run cool

                                        One more thing lol

Last year even though the 888 is not great they were ok with letting that be the ONLY flagship processor for the year and they never care about going to tsmc

But Qualcomm feeling that mediatek pressure lolol they rushing to release an 8 gen 2

That's what you get Qualcomm for being lazy releasing basically the same processor over and over for example the snap 680 which is basically the 660 over and over again..

And for processors that are different Qualcomm upgrade with scraps/marginal....
