Of course it will. Probably not immediately but Microsoft didn't spend $70 billion to make games for the Playstation.
Probably the next CoD, or the one after that (to avoid backlash).

Sony exclusives like God of War and many others far outshine whatever childish exlusives Xbox has to offer, like Halo (shooting cute squeaky aliens) or Gears of War (cartoonishly steroided characters).

At the very least, even Playstation will soon have plenty of Xbox games (logo and all). It will now be on Sony's side to make the other move (i.e., have lots of Playstation games on Xbox), otherwise Microsoft can finally reciprocate and give a taste to Sony fanboys of what that "its all about exclusives" mantra really means.

MS couldnt do anything with the money.

As a many people don't know that who where the one who developed the Blu-ray technology format " Sony "and along with other member companies of the Blu-ray Disc Association, earn royalties from blu ray players, drives, and discs sold.For every blu ray disc game disc manufactured and sold for Microsoft xbox, royalties have to be paid to Sony. One thing that Sony can do is to charge more per blu ray disc manufactured and sold on the any xbox console and obtain more royalties. Also Sony can kick Microsoft in the teeth if this is all out war on Sony Japan. Sony as been developing electronics more than 50 years.

Yes, COD is literally the best-selling game on PS, but that doesn't mean people will literally switch to Xbox when they can play it on PC. And as stated in the article, Sony has a contract with Activision. I'm pretty sure "gamers" wouldn't like it and give Microsoft shit about being petty by making Activision titles Microsoft exclusive. Anyway, I'll stick with my PS exclusive. The only reason Microsoft would buy a AAA game company is because Halo was their only successful game series as far as i remember. And I doubt that Microsoft will be childish enough to make Activision games Microsoft exclusives, because, as you stated, "MICROSOFT IS A TRILLION DOLLAR COMPANY, WHILST SONY IS ONLY IN THE BILLIONS." That would make your trillion dollar company seem greedy considering the fact that, as stated in the article, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer himself said that "Activision Blizzard games are enjoyed on a variety of platforms and we plan to continue to support those communities moving forward." PlayStation is one of the available platforms. I don't know why you would even argue about the fact that Microsoft is so good and mighty that you push it so far by comparing each company's net worth. I guess people like you make the gaming community a little worse than it should be. Everyone can play on whatever type of platform they want. But that doesn't justify your actions in comparing companies that strive to do their best in their own way.

Sony is scared because sony knows that if they are only xbox and pc and xcloud exclusive then sony wont earn many sales anymore. All those sony fans will turn into pc or xbox fans cuz theyll get the new xbox or get a pc just for the new cod, new overwatch, new watever activision does.
Sony cant do what microsoft does. Sony is barely even close to being a trillion dollar company they are still in the billions even after all the sales they make from consoles and such and for so long and still not in the trillions. Sony cant. And if they did put 70billion on activsion. Sony would have to make theyre consoles higher priced and games as well. Or do special offers and still wont be close to making that 70 billion into profit. For microsoft its a profit day one. They dont care they got trillions they get those 70 billions in seconds while sony gets them in YEARS.
