      And again check your fact sd 808 had 1.8ghz not 2.1ghz so look again what soc you talk about.

      Also mediatek X25 and other x series like X20 had cortex A72 not cortex A57 like sd 810 and 808 so different generation different time.

      Those x series were anounced 2016 and compete with sd 820 and sd 835 which also came with cortex A72/A73, While sd 810 and 808 were anounced 2015.

        38% throttling! You think it's normal? I don't.

        Do the same test on Helio X20, it will throttle from 2.1 to 1.8...!!!! But yes it's Mediatek, in the past, media used to assassinate them without any test.
        Best proof is that Mediatek overclocked it to 2.5ghz on X25 without any problem (and even 2.6ghz on X27...on this one it wasn't a good idea)

        About 730G, I only say facts, there's no noise reduction over 48MP...you have to understand the specsheet on Qualcomm's official website : MFNR, 48MP...simple if you've got enough technical knowledge

D... moreNo sd 808 had normal throttling like Any processor, All big site like Arstecnica, Android Authority etc praise it. At worst it throttle from 1.8ghz to 1.4ghz and even after 1 hour it can operate at 1.7ghz (at 100% is 1.8ghz).

          And you said yourself adreno 730 cant denoise 48mp picture isnt that criticism? Even though phone dont use gpu to handle camera they have dedicated isp for that work.

            1. Dimensity 9000 is in huge phone/Tablet and its thick, so its not good measure as of now.

            2. It consume 6.8W while sd 8 gen 1 consume 7.5W, while it show its more efficient than sd 8 gen 1, but in reality they are both oven. And dimensity 9000 is more hot than sd 888 when playing genshini Impact.

                  -lg nexus 5x use sd 808
                  -lg V10 use sd 808
                  -moto x used sd 808

                  LG and Samsung were best two Android flagship at that time, and HTC come close but HTC were already in decline.

                  And you claim sd 8 gen 1 camera prowess without even reviews shows your bias.

                    Will be the same with 8 Gen 1! A failure.
                    The only flagship soc without AV1 hardware decoder! Even Amlogic and Rockchip are able to provide AV1 hardware decoder!
                    Unable to sustain a 20 minutes long 3DMark test.

                    730 isn't even able to denoise pictures over 48MP (source : Qualcomm's website)...and you can find 108MP cameras with that chip.
                    And you thing there's some logic behind this.

Since Symbian days it was There and Nokia Lumia and HTC used to compete a lot, Nokia used single sensor Solution and HTC had Dual camera.

                        Also Xiaomi used even snapdragon 730 in their cameraphone, they could use dimensity 1000 but they didnt.

                        All these oems Vivo, Oppo, Samsung, Xiaomi, Sony etc they have hundreds of mediatek devices but they dont borher to use mediatek to show camera prowess for a reason. They know better than us and they are the one making these devices.

                          Qualcomm has literally made seriously ill willed clauses to force OEMS to use only thier chipset

                          They also bundle other chipsets with their snap 8 series

                          If you think this is as simple as the best wins you are serious mistaken politics have heavy influence

                            That's not fair...

                            Mediatek presented bokeh mode at CES before Apple and Huawei...worked fine at CES...
                            Then unknowed brands from Shenzhen released crappy devices with fake cameras and horrible results.
                            Triple ISP exists since Helio P60, the fonction was unused by OEM...Qualcomm's triple ISP appears with SD888
                            4k HDR recording appears on Dimensity 1000+, Qualcomm brings it one year later on SD888.

                            Still OEM doesn't make the same efforts on devices with Mediatek's both in term of hardware and software :
                            - nearly never any OIS
                            - nearly never good secondary cameras (often cheap 8MB ultrawide, no telephoto)
                            - even put limited software to promote more expensive devices with Snapdragon...the best exemple of software limitation is lack of 4k/60fps recording on Xiaomi 11T even if Dimensity 1200 supports it.

                            Xiaomi has to give you some reasons to spend more money on a 11T Pro with SD888.

                            We have to compare devices from the same brands, with same cameras and at same price...that's still impossible yet!

But you're reasoning is wrong, even if the dimensity is better, theoritically speaking, they will use the snapdragon version for marketing purposes.

And not just Gcam many apps have problems with Mali/Mediatek in modding community.
