PMKLR3m, 22 Jan 2022It would be funny if dimensity 9000 is better than snap 8 gen1.Yes the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is a bit faster than the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 on serveral benchscore but only by negligible margin. And also there are reports of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 having more heating issues than the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 due to drawing more power(and and may as well translate more battery consumption).

The one downside with MediaTek Dimensity 9000 is it's lack of support for mmWave 5G.

George399, 22 Jan 2022The R version has a better chipset that the double price Pr... moreR stand for right after all ;)

They only just released the 9RT. Perhaps they should focus on updating their existing phones to Android 12 rather than waiting until April. That's six months after the release of Android 12. I'm already running Android 12 on my midrange Galaxy A52 5G.

The R version has a better chipset that the double price Pro version 😂

          OH OH Qualcomm OH OH

          On Amazon:

Black and decker toaster : $27.44
Qualcomm out here selling one for $130

It would be funny if dimensity 9000 is better than snap 8 gen1.
