I was about to get an One X, but later settled with a GS3 for the earlier's poor battery life.

Again the worst part is the camera!
Look how laggy its in low light!

HTC first improve your camera quality, enable MicroSD and ditch Nvidia its so laggy in HD games and always requires optimized while Exynos can run any game even if it wasn't optimized with Exynos.
Check how laggy N.O.V.A. 3 on One X

While the old Dual Exynos runs better than Quad Nvidia

he is absolutely right . Very poor marketing was the cause . Just for example , even though many htc phones are available in India , there is no single add on tv about any htc product . I think htc onex + is the most underrated phone of the year . most overrated being iphone 5 and galaxy s 3 .

Stop making 20kilo battery munching shitty screen devices. And remove that bloat called sense. Then people will flock back to HTC.

And all the HTC flagship in the past had WiFi or radio issues. Fix that as well

Suuuuure, marketing! How about not updating your phones, and then re-launching them under other name with OS updated, or useless bloatware on Windows Phone devices (seriously, these apps do not even try to look native), or terrible quality cameras, or over-the-rooftop prices, or all that Nokia-wannabe stuff like N8-like anodized aluminium, then N9-like polycarbonate, and now all these happy Lumia-esque body colours. How's that for a reason?

Quietly defective and loudly bloated. Plus the mistake of using tegra, performance geeks don't want Tegra. Unless they don't know how slow Tegra is in real life ofcors.

I never buy a htc again, what a waste of money, do not trust this company.

I think HTC is has made a name for themselves so their problem is not really marketing but not listening to customers. All they need is to learn from Samsung. Samsung knows what customers want, e.g. microsd, high capacity and removable battery.

i live in italy and i bought an htc one x.i am very happy with the phone.it's a much better phone than s3 and iphone but during the christmas days i never saw on tv not just a single comercial.but i saw hundreds of comercials for s3 and iphone.i choose htc because of its specs and its performance but an average customer has the need to buy a well known product,a product seen in tv.belive it or not advertising it's more important than some other departments of a company.i hope that htc gets back on track and that it will release some others good phones.greetongs to all.wrote on my hox ))

                                  Damn right!
It's not about bad decisions for professionals (lack of SD slots, non-removable batteries, lack of OS updates, BS excuse tactics, etc), it's the marketing I tell you!

Crap only sells if heavily marketed, I guess HTC knows what they have in hands.

I was a Htc Fanboy now a i own a S3 north american version. The main reason why i did not go for HTC one x over S3

                                    1. No Sd card slot (the main reason for me)
                                    2.No remouvable batterie
                                    3. S Bean( Samsung exclusive)
                                    4. Hdmi Out
                                    5. Usb On the go( 2nd main reason)
                                    6. Prefer amoled over ips lcd

Prefere sence over touchwiz. I use Nova launcher anyway.

Htc give me all this and a will come back!!!!

Ok so I don't get it, first the CEO thinks the problem was the poor marketing and then says “he'll place his bet on innovation for this year, and not so much on marketing…” ?????????? I do love HTC, but 2012 phones had been obsolete... enambed and small batteries, no worldwide network, phones with almost everything, but no front camera or poor resolution… etc. Hope HTC does better this year.
