HTC sensation failed because of low internal memory, and HTC one X failed because not expandable memory and not remove able battery, if now HTC bring better specification than Samsung HTC even can not be number one.

Poor marketing really ?????? How about you just release the one flagship stick with it for a year and then introduce new Model...... Bought ONE X thinking this is the ducks nuts then they release another then another...... remember Desire line-up ? I believe they had something there then they flooded the market with crap ......

        HTC Marketing is simple silly!
Every time HTC announced new models with another name! Do not see how the other companies promote their models? Why do not keep Mobile - Flagship (e.g Samsung Galaxy). I do not know really how they think...

This is what happens when a company like HTC fails to compete against Nokia. Nokia is now eating HTC's marketshare and Samsung will be its next victim. 2013 will be very good for Nokia and these Android OEMs will start falling to Nokia's might one by one.

HTC should listen to mr Chou. I'm very interested with HTC phones, specs are good but aside from that I'm clueless about its other features. They should put more effort on marketing, it's not the phone that drives people away from HTC but it's the marketing. They give high numbers and then what? Its like would you buy something you dont really know.

HTC CEO is in denial blaming poor marketing for decline of market share. Perhaps dumping tens of thousands Desire HD users and poor battery performance is the main contributing factor. I've had two HTC devices and unlikely to buy a 3rd, HTC were painfully slow distributing software upgrades then to be told the product we bought in good faith is old technology after 12 months and will no longer receive updates. Needless to say we no longer buy HTC devices for the staff.

if HTC spent more releasing the latest phones in uk/europe and not china/japan. they might sell more simple.

The issue rather than marketing is reach to end user...I mean how many stores or service centres do u see in ur city for HTC...I see samsung all around...Apple has stores like Istores and reliance digital...However for even u to buy an HTC u have to look it up online...
