This wouldn't be a problem for me since I hardly update my apps unless they force me to like Chase, Dasher, and Vons. But this doesn't look good for Google being the Pixel 6 / 6 Pro with Android 12 had bugs already. Google is ruining their reputation with every new software update and new Pixel.

Review scores for every Pixel flagship ever made
Pixel/XL: 4.5
Pixel 2/2XL: 4.6
Pixel 3: 4.4
Pixel 3 XL: 4.5
Pixel 4/4 XL: 3.7
Pixel 5: 4.3
Pixel 6/6 Pro: 4.0
Pixel really did peak with the 2. I'm a Pixel 3 fan though. I think that gen was the best even with 3 XL's hideous notch. The non-XL 3 looks like the black 2 XL but smaller and no LG display issues like the blue shifting.
Planning to get a 128 GB Pixel 2 XL panda / penguin / Stormtrooper for $70 off Craigslist. Just to use as a third wheel behind my Razr 5G and Flip 3. Again, 2 XL panda is still peak Pixel design. Looks good rocking Air Jordan 12 Taxi.

One of the biggest company in the world.
Can't update their own service without breaking their own device, made specifically to rely on those.
They don't bother testing…
This is also why I don't rely on stock apps.
This is also one of the thing I hate about object-oriented programming, supposedly it makes things easier to update/maintain, but it also makes it much easier to breaks and a pain to find what dependency will break or remind you the hard way, when you aren't expecting it, that you didn't think about specifying that two things that procedural programming would have naturally allowed to works together, haven't been specified to be allowed to work together despite anyone expecting this to be the logic thing to do and shouldn't be required…

Nowadays Google's focus seems to be on woke search censorship and diversity, rather than on good code.

It's comical at this point. Looks like I dodged a bullet by not getting the Pixel 6 Pro. Christ!

Nexus One, 04 Feb 2022Google keeps screwing it up. I've actually seen a Pixe... moreI honestly don't know why Google doesn't make that unlimited Photos storage a selling point for future Pixels. It would actually undermine the need for microSD card by a good amount (not for me but for avid photographers).

It’s best to not update anything on pixel 6 otherwise Google keep breaking it.

bayugtaufik, 04 Feb 2022Google better ditch HTC and start doing Pixels made entirel... moreThe issue is not even hardware here. It's the software. Everyone praises Google like gods when it comes to software and they make one of the worst software engineering mistakes the world has ever seen and then look like surprised Pikachu when they are suppose to fix them...

Maybe Google employees should put down their Iphones first so they could work properly on fixing their own products.

This is ridiculous.... but every other company does the same crap. Samsung, Apple, Google, etc. They all have these issues and cut corners. Especially the cut corners. That's every single last phone out there.

Google keeps screwing it up. I've actually seen a Pixel 6 go for only $300 on OfferUp and it's in excellent condition being only a few months.
I prefer the first 3 generations of Pixels. The OG has unlimited storage with original resolution for life. Then 2 and 3 have unlimited saver storage and had better cameras. The 4 and 5 did too but 4 lacked the fingerprint sensor and the 5 lacked a flagship SoC. I feel Pixel peaked with 2 and 3 with the 2 XL panda having the best design.
