I agree with German Minister.
Google is making zillions of $$$ in EU, that's fine,but it needs to play by EU rules.So,the solution might be-Meta can continue its business in EU,but they need to keep all their data on servers located in,say,Germany.
And all the required hardware will be provided by....Huawei.

Facebook can make a choice: they can abide by the laws, and make a few changes to how they work, or they can walk away from all of the revenue they generate in a bloc that's bigger than their home market of the USA.
The EU knows this, and they know that while Zuck will huff and puff and threaten he will comply rather than take a much bigger financial hit by carrying out his threat. And it's not at all a bad thing to remind people like him that actually they aren't masters of the world after all.

As someone who lives in it : Facebook and social media did nothing but destroy people's lives, especially if it's uncontrollable like Facebook, and it's confirmed by research.
Right now only our parents and grandparents use Facebook, I literally don't know any under 40 years old man or woman who unironically uses it.
