If facebook really ended, there would be immediately something else, just without the connection to other countries, because they would not let us. So the EU would stay isolated, just like China is.
In the past we had chatting apps and websites (who does remember ICQ), now we have facebook. Or you think that people stop using this, and go somewhere outside instead? Never happens.

Thank you. I have all my businesses on Facebook and Instagram. You cannot shut it down for people who earn their money with these platforms. What a shame. Just because you do not use it, does not mean others do not want to use it. I studied abroad and stay connected with people on Insta and Facebook.

its all about money ... government are human too and they need money, while privates dont want to pay to government, so, private invent ways to create private money, the crypto, but, how to spend ??? private makes the crypto hard to convert to physical money, instead, make ways to spend online, hard to trace by government
human is analog, human uses physical tangible things
ocp, buy n large, those similar privates, must shut down or support the government, dont let privates rules the earth
