Dear GSM Arena please fix some mistakes.
Very first cell phone with AMOLED Screen wasnt Samsung S but Nokia N85 2 years before Samsung made its first amoled device.

Samsung Note series were great but we had stylus long time before.
The stylus first came onto the mobile phone scene in 1993 with the first PDA (personal digital assistant) device, the Simon Personal Communicator, one of the first phones with email, text messaging and calendar functions.

Samsung Knox debuted in 2013 with the Galaxy Note 3 as Samsung’s own mobile security and management framework shielding Galaxy devices from malicious software and unauthorized access while also encrypting user data.
This is right but Blackberry phones did this long time before also there were phones before Samsung Invented know which were far more secured just like SIGSALY
This was the first secure telephone, developed at Bell Labs in the 1940s. Not only did it successfully communicate top-secret information, including the Allied plans for the 1944 Normandy invasion – but it pioneered several important communications technologies.

            STU – Secure Desk Telephone
The STU-I phone, a secure desk telephone design for use by the United States government and its contractors, first appeared in 1970. Its successor, the STU-II, replaced the STU-I in 1975. The STU-III was introduced in 1977, and was one of the first applications of asymmetric cryptography.

2014 marked the first IP-rated Galaxy phone - the Galaxy S5 with its IP-67 dust and water resistance meant accidental drops in liquids won’t render your device dead. Since then Samsung has stepped up its Galaxy S-series to the IP-68 level on its flagships and we’ve even seen IP-rated midrangers in the Galaxy-A series portfolio.
This is also correct with few exceptions. Sony used IP6X rated phones 3 years before samsung and Motorola invented first durable and IP6X resistant phone back in 2008.
When comes to durability old Nokia 3310 from 2000 had zero IP6X resistance no MIL-STD810G etc and yet it was one of the most durable phones ever made.

Another thing to say until Samsung and other brands wiling not to give 2 years water damage warranty to its devices IP6X rating is nothing just costly gimmick where any case does same tricks for much less and truth is every smartphone can withstand few raindrops.
For clumsy people i reccomend old Nokia 3310.

Samsung Pay, the Galaxy S7 series’ Dual Pixel sensor, One UI and the foldable Galaxy Z series are among the other brig breakthroughs. You can go over the full top-ten list in the source link below.
Many other brands had this before Samsung like Flexpay was first foldable smartphone ever made. Kyocera Echo from 2011 was first foldable dual screen phone.
Dual Pixel sensor was here long time before samsung too. And One UI is just another bloatware like IOS, like MIUI, like Color OS etc.
Only important is clean android without an yforced apps which acts like a mandatory and part of the OS just eating ram and disk space and cant be deleted.

Clean adroid is a must. Rest would and should not be essential but dependable on every consumer and customer needs.

            Said Fact.
            CptPower out.

Nah the biggest innovation is the last Galaxy Note 2 of the HD Super AMOLED S-Stripe RGB screen with full array of RGB and not the current Pentile Matrix OLED after that.

All the producers and not only phone ones, know that people are shallow, don't think with their brain and appeal to that desire inside all to have the latest and the best, although most of the features are absolutely just for design and ego. So, in my case, as I am in need of a new phone also from my old Xperia XZ 2, seems reasonable to go with a high mid ranger, meaning that I am ok with plastic back, medium camera, medium os, three years of updates, ok display not top and latest processor and GPU, don't even care about jack or memory slot. What most do not understand is that we, all day users, do not have the need for more than 8 GB RAM and 256 GB memory and we are not professional photographs and all the games can run at maximum settings on 2, even 3 years old phones, and there is no difference visible between 2k and full hd, etc. But the ego in us is too big.

Now we have all the superficial features: like folding displays that quickly Age the product, and astronomical prices. The only reason I'm sticking with Samsung is their Spen, which no flagship phone possess far.

Without removable battery, paying 700$ for a flagship is unjustifiable IMO. Now I own a 150$ budget phone with a sealed battery. Divide that by 2 years= 75$ per year. They lost more money by removing features in my case but YMMV.

My first galaxy device was samsung grand ,then s4 ,then s7 , currently s10 now going to upgrade to s22 , basicaly if you upgrade after 3 years you will feel the difference otherwise you don't feel any difference other then the ui , with proper case , s series will work like charm for years but battery health is the major concern after 3 years.

1: non removable battery- what you said
2: curved screen- serves no purpose and breaks easier than than a flat screen
3: removed IR blaster- it was very useful and basically made remotes non existent in my house
4: removed headphone jack- they want you to use their wireless headphones. Wired headphones are way better and cheaper. You can use usb c headphones but the constant switching between headphones and charger will eventually wear out the port, already happened on my Note 10
5: no expandable storage- one of the reasons i prefered Android over Apple. I'm a heavy user and always rely on huge SD cards to store my stuff. Samsung does not offer a 1 tb option on any of their phones and even if they did, keeping my files on the SD is much safer than on the phone storage
6: 3 models for the flagship phones- 2 models were enough. 1 small and 1 big but now the Ultra is just an excuse to overprice their phone to Apple levels
7: 1080p on their flagships (excluding the Ultra)- just why?
8: plastic on the S21- again, why?
