samsung galaxy note9 was the best...
considering a phone from samsung stopped there, so, never had one since i still have good phone back then... and thought samsung was in the right direction... then s10 and note10 came...

        FullmetalJun, 09 Feb 2022Samsung S8 was their best innovationHalf a decade ago, we had infinity display, no notch no punch hole BS, we had Iris scanner, best feature ever, Heart rate sensor, SpO2 sensor, ONE camera that could do 8x zoom equivalent to standard telephoto zoom cameras at that time, blur effect, super slow mo (480fps version), micro sd, headphone jack, EVERYTHING! And such a compact phone!

        But this is all history now.

          I stopped buying Samsungs right after the Note3. They became overpriced, at least for my budget.

            Innovation stopped after the Note 9, maybe the S10.

                I’ve had the original S, S2, S7 edge and S10. Can’t wait to buy the S22 or S22+!

                          I remember when the first Note came out, people laughed at it for being so big. Then big became the norm. It's happening again with foldables. It will finally become more accepted when Apple releases one.

You sell a phone and the buyer changes the battery or the display and he uses the phone for 7, 8, 9 years...lol. Where is the profit in that? Gone is that era, today they want you to buy a phone every year, even if the earth shows clear signs of depletion for natural resources. I hear that Apple pay for the services to destroy the displays of their decommissioned laptops.

                              Samsung’s biggest fail is arguably killing the removable battery. When my 4-year-old Galaxy S4’s battery life became unbearable, I took it to the local official Samsung store. They had S4 batteries in stock so I bought one for 20$. It extended my S4’s life by 3 more years.

                                      Galaxy S wasn't the first smartphone with AMOLED. Omnia HD was way before Galaxy S.
                                      I hope you meant the first Android smartphone.
