Olympus Oms, 13 Feb 2022No big difference from S21 ultra. So, not hot and not cold. There really isn’t but still a very good phone. Regular and Plus versions are boring

Only the S22 Ultra is worth it. Otherwise just forget about it.

When I saw them live in the shop, I changed my mind completely on the plua model. Even the s21 fe looks nicer in front.

Samsung has been leaders for long time and they are still leading the competition.
Apple(multi-million company) found it so hard till they broke out with the 13promax and every other so called iphone are trash even b4 unnumbered amount of Chinese devices

Sony 😂😂 they are true legend but not in competition (like fans will keep sayin "Sony is 4 profs)
Xiaomi and fast charge tricks and fan boys will claim they are no.1 when it comes to innovation and yearly upgrades

Realme is coming up sayin "BEST ULTRA WIDE ANGLE PHONE IS COMING STAY TUNED CAUSE TECHNOLOGY IS STILL IN OUR HANDS " it's as if they 4got VIVO,OPPO and MOTOROLA are still in competitions.

So many issues at hand to solve and yet we shall keep on goin with cheatin competitions.

                    Samsung played a game.
S22 and s22+ are so lame that people have no option then to buy a s22 ultra. Not a vast difference in price also.
Note lovers won't miss a note at all as this is it so what if it's named otherwise

I like Galaxy S22+ the most, design is minimal and looks cleaner unlike Galaxy S21+. I like that S22 Ultra has the S Pen inside but the design of the phone is not for me, i don't like those sharp edges and giant screen size with edge display which is outdated for me and useless.
So overall, i would buy Galaxy S22+ but i'm happy with my current Galaxy A52s which i have for about 3 months and planning keeping it to the end of 2023. :)

The S22 definitely has my approval. Not really compact but still possible to use with one hand. The only downside is the plastic back removed since I do not like using cases. Still a nice phone from Samsung and possibly my next phone after this one turns two years old soon

Like the last couple years, Samsung will never entice me with their flagships. It's amazing that they own Harmon/Kardon and have a department that works on microSD cards and yet, all three phones have neither the microSD card slot or the headphone jack. Lack of charger in the box is also ridiculous (you know, in order for warranty support, you HAVE to get the Samsung-branded ones just in case of battery issues).

Before you jump at me, Bluetooth headphones still don't have the next-to-no latency for audio to video (wired headphones have zero) and I don't feel like using the type C port for two different functions.

As for microSD card, last I checked, Cloud solutions cost monthly money for access to MY data and NAS systems are too pricey still. So there is no reason to remove this feature.

recycled s21 ultra just to refresh the price and raise it again, doesn't worth 1 penny over s21 ultra, same tiny sensors for cameras , useless space for battery used for spen etc

The S22 is perfect more compact than most recent compact phones in the Android ecosystem. This is exactly what we need.

Better standby time & overall battery life on smaller phones is hard to achieve with these power hungry OSes. And if that's done, then naturally the OS & firmware optimizations will yield much better battery life from bigger phones!

Also, i haven't seen any snapdragon 8 gen 1 vs exynos 2200 comparisons, but maybe like last year, it will be the same and neck n neck between the two. Those 2 chipsets rival apple bionic in terms of light - medium day to day use. But in suoer heavy use cases it might overheat and suck lots of battery.

Go check out Dave2d video about why android phones doesn't suck with oneplus 10 pro as the thumbnail. Light to medium uses are excellent with snapdragon 8 gen 1, no battery suck, no overheat. Only when u benchmarks and play genshin it is worse than apple a15 bionic, if not it is on par

The S22 Ultra is super hot! Even Mi 12 Ultra wouldn't have an S Pen or an excellent software without bugs with 4 years of updates and 5 years of security updates. Mi 12 Ultra will maybe have an advantage in the charging, since the 45W is a bit slow (but 50% in 20 minutes is fast enough for me)

Maybe it is Time for me to switch from my Mate 20 Pro

If it had an headphone jack, ir blaster, and microsd this will be the perfect phone (mate 20 pro doesn't have so i am fine)

I've always liked the Note series more than the S series. Not because it has an S pen but because the Note series is always better designed and has more cutting edge features. Still, I've always shied away from the Note series because I've never needed that S pen and it doesn't make sense to pay more for it.
