Those who usually need both will setlle for the best available without complains as phone tend to either be game focused or cam focused (unless you are paying for those very expensive very high end flagships) which still aren't hardware optimised for gaming (no buttons etc)
You can keep saying I am pushing my opinion but I am just saying the truth. Heavy gamers are too busy gaming to take pictures, or proper ones anyway.

k / poco series always quite clear about what they wanted to offer, high end processor, great or decent on screen, speaker and others. BUT sacrifice camera for lowering the price

This phone is good enough for gammer. I will buy this phone for my kids. My teenage kids. to replace their poco F1 phone.

But then,... moreyup, this gaming phone alwyas like that. especially if the budget is limited, than it always sacrifice its camera.
1 big example is Poco X3 Pro. no one in that price ($200) have Snap 860 which is faster than dimensity 900 or snap 732 or snap 750. even snap 860 beat snap in antutu 778G which a phone which have 778G having a price of $400.

This gaming category is perfect for gamer who doesn't care about camera.
(Well, actually the camera is NOT bad, it just not the best).
This gaming phone category born for mostly teenager and early 20's who have a tight budget but want the best gaming phone.

The guy prefer smaller phones, yet he spit on their image by saying they don't sell well, which in this market, saying such things is a big no no.
A single person saying a single negative thing about anything smartphone related is probably equal to a thousand person or more saying good things about it.
I explained it in every possible ways, I tried to not lie while making reality appear softer for the sake of smaller phones, he couldn't get a single clue.
That's literally like an idiot who say something stupid in front of someone else, you cough, he doesn't get the hint, you cut him mid-sentence, then he resumes, you try to give him a big verbal hint, he continues, you literally step on his feet and he just gets mad to still be dense as a neutron star and continue to say whatever he shouldn't…
That isn't him alone, FAR from that, but honestly, between the haters who spit on things that have absolutely no influence over them (like pop-up, a perfect example, there were only so much phones with them, but not only a lot said total BS about them, but HAD to trash talk them as if it was something you couldn't find a phone that doesn't have one), and those who literally prefer some things but yet still spit on me for defending it.
Considering this market is so awful BECAUSE of them, because of what they say, the massive influence of badmouthing things that make investors reluctant to fund certain projects, and a market you can't analyze what its nerds/fans/community members wants, as everyone continuously trashtalk everything, added to the fact that it is so easy to forget the tiny minority that is the smartphone enthusiasts community and simply make big cash through casuals who don't know anything and are easy to fools with BS like 2Mp sensors.
While every other market in the world have products for their casuals, but also for their different niches, and try their best to make things for its enthusiast community, because those other communities don't do those BS constant trash talk for no reasons, that's something that was a thing but died on smartphones.
How often do you see car enthusiasts complain that SUV or Sedans exist?
Or that there is a hybrid version, or that there is a luxurious feature pack.
Imagine if PC nerds complained that there are still some passive CPU's heatsink sold, rather than just shutting their mouth and not buying it?
Or that there are still non-RGB products.
Or that fisherman complains there are Carps gears, or small fishes gears being sold…
You can look at every other markets, this is still a behavior unique to Smartphone enthusiasts.
There are criticisms (Tesla car quality for example), favorite brands/tech (AMD vs Nvidia for example), etc, but no one trash talk features they aren't forced to buy and that aren't there instead of something else.
So from now one, I've totally gave up on the smartphone enthusiast community, and rather than fighting for smartphones to become better or avoid becoming awful, or even for everyone to have choices, I'll try my best to promote the worst tech and kill the good ones, comments by comments, and sometime even using carefully chosen keywords that can affect more than other the market (through the few market analyst and investors that read through those cancerous comment sessions), and try my best so smartphone become the worse possible, even if my “contribution” is tiny.
Because honestly, many smartphone enthusiasts clearly don't deserve that there are good smartphones left to pick from.
