I really love the ZFlip 3, it is extremely fast, the screen really feels like glass to the touch, like an ordinary smartphone! the crease is not an issue, trust me. Super portable, and it wows me on the daily that it is possible to create such a device. No fanboyism, its just a superb device. I really like the iPhone 13 Pro and was going to get one in sierra blue but it was impossible to find in my city at the time of purchase...

Get the price down in the 600-800 range and watch them REALLY take off.
They are overpriced right now.

This shouldn't be surprising as I've been saying this for awhile. Wait when Apple releases one, then they'll really take off. But the 30M could be overestimating as smartphones sales may slow down.
Samsung now offers 4-year major OS updates and 5-year security patches. More and more people will hang onto to their phones longer. We really only need ro upgrade twice per decade. Not five times per decade like we used to.

What are you smoking :D reality check please..
Just for starter, most phones sold are around $230.
And most people don’t need or want flip phones. Most people want their phones to be ready to use when they take it out of pocket, they don’t want to flip it open everytime they want to use it. Standard slab phones will have very big majority of sales for very long time.

The "unfoldable" phones however are simply too big for many people to become phone replacements.
But I'm sure there would be more foldable tablets than slab tablets in 6 or 7 years,

they are supper useless, unbelievably fragile and most importantly, overpriced as hell. i can't figure out why people are so obsessed with them.
the screen isn't even that good for media consumption cause 99% of shows aren't made for a 4:3 screen.
just get a damn tablet with an oled screen, and a decent phone for the price of one of these, and they'll stay intact for much, much, much longer.

Clamshell is much better idea.
I would never buy Z Fold 3 over Flip 3 even if both had same price.
Too big too be phone.
Too small to be tablet.
Too much of screen is black when watching videos.
It is already annoying this on ipad and its 4:3 ratio.
Would be nice if brands made simpler versions too. With midrange cpu, single rear cameras.
