17 February 2022
The Super Clear Glass over the cameras seems to be a weak spot.

That's not even something new, it's known for years this Gorilla glass and IP certifications are more like some useless, pointless features, that do not guarantee your phone safety against shocks or water but greatly increase the price of the phone and make the user mind be at ease. On the other hand, one friend of mine has a phone 200 Euros worth new, doesn't even matter the brand, which he dropped in wet snow and let it there fora few hours, found it and still work perfectly today, while on my flagship Sony I dropped a few cold coffee and just died...so I can nit give a shit about Gorilla glass or IP certification, I'll just buy a high mid ranger without those features, put it in a good protective case and save myself many hundred of Euros.

I may even say is worse than the Note 20Ultra since that one took longer to crack

I never believed companies marketing tricks. Like ,,gorilla glass victus+" is just a fancy name for a glass which, of course, breaks easily so no surprises.

What's the point of expensive finishes and a super-dooper clear screen, if the first thing you have to do is wrap it in silicon and plastic?

Why not just make resilient phone in the first place and offer a 'more money than sense' unprotected version for those who can just buy another phone and feel no pain doing so.

This man YouTube channel is so underrated

This channel can potentially be next big durability tester out there

You can't use tempered glass on this phone because of the fingerprint reader. You need plastic foil instead. But yeah, you need to protect it as much as possible, cuz this thing seems to be fragile as ...

Compared to that Redmi K50 or Nubia red magic have better benchmark results for 1/3 of the price. and comes with all that S22 dont have and much more like faster charger and charging better screen etc.
