Why are there no 25 and 50 Hz modes? A lot of shows are 25/50 FPS nowadays and will judder on these devices. 23.976, 24, 25, 30, 48, 50 and 60 Hz modes are necessary to cover all common video standards and avoid judder.

LOVE THE SHIBA EASTER EGG! LESSS GOOO SHIB!

            P.S.

Got my S22 Ultra from the FedEx guy this a.m.! I was running a tad "late" to work and just as I almost gave up I heard that "DINGGG DONGG" then my dog went nuts and it was here! Finally after 2 different shipping tracking apps confirmed it was picked up & in FedExs possession. Delivery on the 22nd, then 23rd and finally last night everything was jiving and stated before 8p.m. on the 24th.

Anonymous, 22 Feb 2022So you were just saying the obvious? Everyone understands t... moreMy point is exactly what I wrote. It was a complete lack of awareness on their part. Samsung thought the consumer was caught up in the technology so they found a roundabout way to do it. They had no clue this was about the battery life. Not the spec sheet. If they found a way to get more stamina from the battery, people would overlook the lower refresh rates.

After apple was able to accomplish great battery life with 120hz, Samsung should have known they would be held to a higher standard. So you are right. I'm pointing out what was obvious to everyone. Except Samsung.

Complete lack of awareness on Samsung's part. Nobody actually gives a shhhhh about the lower refresh rates. This is all about the battery life and the fact Apple has been able to add variable refresh rates and still increase the battery life with less capacity than it's android counterpart.
