Anonymous, 19 Feb 2022iOS 15 had had it's fair share of bugs let's not ... moreOf course!
But nothing as bad as leaving a phone useless with drop calls and disconnecting issues (pixel 6), or halving GPU performance for 6 months (pixel 5).

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2022iOS 15 had had it's fair share of bugs let's not ... moreSo, one version of OS. Pixel phones have dumb software issues for as long as I can remember existence of Pixel phones. I'm guessing things weren't that much different back during Nexus days given that Google still hasn't got their s**t together now...

Rly, 19 Feb 2022Owners should sue Google, Samsung etc for such crappy relea... morePixel 6 was gen 1 and Android 12 debut. Gen 2 will be refined and even better. I do hope they do a matte back and smaller version around 6.1 or 6.2 sweet spot large market.
I bought pixel 5 this year, coming from 3. Absolutely brilliant phones.

They better dissolve their dependence on the horrible Samsung Exynos! Improve battery, remove bugs, lower prices in their next variant.

Anonymous, 19 Feb 2022Surprised to see that so many people are still buying Pixel... moreI had high hopes for Pixel 6 because of Google being actively involved in design of chipset and announced 5 years of software support. But I just can't wrap my head around the fact Google is so terrible with OS (Android) they freaking developed and for some reason everyone else is better at it than Google. How is that even possible?

Surprised to see that so many people are still buying Pixels. They are nothing but overpriced phones with low built quality and endless bugs.

NLB, 19 Feb 2022By every Apple lauch you know there are always 3 bugs so th... moreLet's assume that every new iPhones always get at least 3 bugs. With Apple, you can expect that those issues will be fixed in no longer than a month after the details about such problems were revealed. But given the same situation on Google's own Pixel phones, it would take them so long just to fix one issue, and only to then create another one that would also take many months to get fixed. This has been the trend for all Pixel devices ever since the very first generation, and it's getting frustratingly disappointing now that they still haven't gotten it right even after so many iterations that have passed. It's almost as if it's already an identity of all Google-made Pixel phones, that it wouldn't be Google if it did not have at least one problem at launch.
At least Apple, in comparison, can launch and release a new iPhone that would have very little to no problems at all, and if there were any, those would just be very tiny and negligible, which means it wouldn't heavily affect the overall user experience. Google, on the other hand, would always have something that wouldn't work well at launch of their Pixel phones, and people would have to wait for months before their thousand-dollar flagship devices would finally work just as they should.
If I were a consistent customer of Google's Pixel phones, I would've already lost my trust on them by this time, and it might not even be brought back again if they continue to be like this in the future.

Google needs to give samsung bigger role in android and collaborate for their phone designs.
Samsung is the only one who is able to provide decent android flagship

Google really need to ditch Samsung's modem and node tech, it is not efficient, drains too much battery. They should continue developing Tensor and partner with TSMC the sooner the better.
And when talking about Pixel 7, they really need to upgrade to a lot better Ultra-Wide sensor with AF.
