The cooling system in the 12 Pro is enough to keep an SD 865 cold, I don't think it's using the max performance capacity, the chipset overheats easily, very easily even with games like Hungry Shark i feel the heating (knowing that this game can run on a 4 core old chipset).

At least in Europe anyways. Dimensity 1000 was like Ryzen first gen. It wasn't ground breaking or crown stealing, but it was good enough that it was a significant thing. Dimensity chipsets are what turned Mediatek from forgettable no one that only stuffs crapyp chipsets into more no name devices into a significant player in the market with actually decent chipsets. I just wish they'd already kill off G80/G90 series and entirely replace them with vastly superior Dimensity chipsets across the board.

      MT is going to destroy our beloved SD if they do not up their game in time. We have seen many leading titans fall, and I love SD too much to see it fall too.
      That being said, I must give MT credit for their good job on the decisions they made to lead in the SoC market.

                              2021...

                              Qualcomm has no excuse to be behind in any department after YEARS of flagship processors

                              And all these specs you mentioned can even be used by any hardware in the industry except mmm wave so not only are they lazy but also wasteful


                              AND Qualcomm basically charges OEMs by adding as much useless features as possible lol

                              8 GEN 1 needs to worry about overheating so that it doesn't kill it self in a year.. not 4 years of android version

                                  Even a SD 855 can run Call of Duty M, so what's point of using all the power of the SD Gen 1?
                                  It's not running at 120 FPS like on the Sony phones from what I remember.
                                  Based on what I've seen on 3D Mark Wildlife Stress test, even if the Adreno 730 is throttled to 75% of it's GPU power, it should have more performance than a peak performance Adreno 660, maybe I'm wrong, what do you think?

                                        2) D9000 cannot handle FHD@240Hz screen, even SD855 can

                                        3) D9000 cannot record 8K, even SD865 can, while 8g1 can do 8K HDR

                                        4) D9000 does not have mmWave, even SD480 has

                                        5) D9000 can handle 20GB ram, SD888 can

                                        6) Phones with D9000 will never earn new 3 or 4 versions of android, like phones with 8G1 can

                                        Only benefit is bluetooth 5.3
