Qualcome is on top of every mobile SoC in the world

Mediatek implemented it 2 years ago. Late with features shows how lazy Qualcomm became.

Man I was testing 8g1 in a Xiaomi 12 pro, what a mess. It's burns playing call of duty mobile!!! In winter!!!

Only flagship? They need to bring it everywhere. Av1 is being adopted rather quickly.

Lmao Qualcomm you greed didn't work

You thought going proprietary was gonna cut it, trying to organise an alliance and signing big company names...

But at the end of the day your still going AV1...

Well behind the likes of mediatek I wouldn't even seriously consider Samsung because the exynos 2100 doesnt have the AV 1 feature active

Forgot to mention that Mediatek dimensity 900, 920, 1000, 1100, 1200 and the upcoming dimensity 9000 all support AV1 decoding

Finally! 4K60 HDR has to be the minimum and 8K60 HDR would be awesome. I know nobody will stream 8K60 HDR on their phone but that's the max YT supports and it would be great for compatibility within the app otherwise it will be messy like with different levels of VP9 support...

Why bother, when even their 'flahship' has pushed away from their own market, and is now being "exclusive" to Europe...
