Put this into android = 1 day usage + 1.5 day standby
Put this into WP8/iOS = 5 day usage + 1 week standby
So sammy you know what to do... put this in the next ATIV series!!

i read almost all comments here, and seems people do not have idea what Samsung is preparing. The 8 (eight) cores is somehow an intelligent chip process. If you need heavy usage like games, you use fast cores, if you need standby or less speed you use low cpu cores. Advantages: A LOT. You reduce 50% or more of battery, 60% reduce of temperature of phone. Overall process optimization of whole phone. Samsung galaxy s4 will have this NEW 8 cores. Top1 phone of 2013. Samsung rocks.

And how many percent apps are running with that amount of core? Having more core means huge amount of money to invest purchasing a smartphone. Sammy might go for more cores like AMD but yet Nobody can beat a dual core Atom. That's what intel is about. But unfortunately the marketing point lies on more number of cores.

Android should solve its problem before its too late!
They patch ui speed with proj butter.. But in fact not a solution .. Task still get done slowly..
They have full multitasking... But practically no way to handle each task manually when face with battery drain.. And the problem worsen with each app installed. An another issue.. Their apps lose their current states most of the time!
Solution is not looking at awsome chip like this. Don need fancy ui eye candy... Like swipe notification.. Change your core that handles application states before u get too bloated!

Can you download play any media format on ios? Why complain when someone do a better job? a core i7 run any thing faster than a core i3, right? So what to complain?

I don't mind any advancements in technology so good enough but if they don't put those flexible unbreakable screens in their phones it's another 808 year for me

By the way only either the A7s run or the A15s, so there are max of 4 cores running at any given moment.So actually any SoC packing 4x A15 cores will run as much as good, if not better as this hybrid.
For the poor believers that talk about polycarbonates, please read how many materials are actually usable in polycarbonate plastic, which is neither strong, neither scratch resistant.
There are special nano coatimgs that make things like plastic scratch resistant.
Deal with it.

Id go for S4pro phone in two years. No to Exynos and Tegra, so many issues with those chips, dangerous.
