rn 10 pro might be my last phone from xiaomi if price keep getting expensive. we all have an option to migrate to other brand that offer cheap and decent hardware like rn 10 pro. even upgrading to 11 series redmi not worth as 10 series still better than 11 series.

But after sale is so bad, very few service center. Low repair stock, need to order part and wait 1-2 weeks.

The regular Xiaomi 12 is even slightly more than the Realme gt2 pro in China. Would expect the regular Xiaomi 12 to be priced similar to the Realme gt2 pro (maybe slightly more expensive) but the pro model will probably be 200-300 euro more. Xiaomi branded phones don't typically offer the highest price to performance ratio at launch. Personally think they are only worth considering when the price drops

The problem is Apple and Samsung have already an established fanbase. If Xiaomi will fall into the same trap as OnePlus, I am not seeing them too good in the near future.
Besides, some competitors have similar specs at lower prices. Realme being one of them. Even Motorola phones have started to emerge in recent times.

Lol, at that prices I will rather go for iPhone or even Samsung phones (even tough I am not particularly a fan of One Ui; still better than MiUi though).
I don't know the rumors about software update, but I doubt they will give 5-6 years of updates for this models, like Apple or Samsung do. And when you buy a 1200EUR phone, you will not change it after 2 years, unless you got too much money to spare. Plus, I am thinking that a 1200EUR Xiaomi phone today, will cost 600EUR next year (totally waste of money, if you want to change it next year for example).
