Samsung's Exynos 5 Octa will still have PowerVR 5 graphics

Why Samsung would insists to use an obsolete GPU in your flagship processor? It simple doesn't make sense. Rumors say the Exynos 5 Octa will be the new Galaxy Note III SoC. If this news is true I definitely won't buy one.

There might be some optimizations (drivers...) later, but "destroy" is something else...
Even though I am an Android fan myself, I have to admit, that at the moment Apple is hard to beat in mobile graphics performance

I mean Seriousl... morethat sir, is your opinion and i respect that. please respect samsung fans' opinions as well. as one already explained here, hardware comes first, then sofrwares get developed for this new hardware. when time comes that games require 8 cores (this chip is not even trully 8 cores), and it happened because this exynos chip was released, and other manufacturers started making the same technology, please consider going back to this thread and put a reply on your own comment.

Sorry but Nvidia's tegra 4 chip will destroy apples A6 chip, it's already been proven, it's GPU has already been labelled the most powerful. Apple will have to come up with some amazing GPU to beat this one. Some of you who like Apple will almost definitely disagree as you would, but Nvidia now have the crown as having the most powerful GPU around.

iPhone 5 is already good, 5S will be faster and smoother! They properly completed project butter in 2014/2015 and finally they can have a smooth UI, something iPhone1 already excelled!

WTF?!? Samsung really going for OctaCore?!? I mean Seriously?!? An Apple Iphone 5 has a dual core.. Most high end Smartphone nowadays have Quadcore.. And just to say they are better they will release an Octacore phone?!? I have an $1100 worth of Desktop and I can play lots of heavy games like Crysis 1,2 at full specs. and many other games.. I dont think this Octacore can even play Rayman Origins for cryin' out loud.. Will we be able to play Diablo 3 in this phone with full settings and stuff?? Are you going to set up a server with this phone?? Come on.. This is just but a joke.. If Samsung does go for it though, that just means they cant think of anything to copy anymore.. Coz they're just making everything multiply itself to make it seem like an innovation.. What a Joke.. Samsung Fanboys will disagree though.. But give some time to think about it and you might realize how pathetic their products are.. Feel sad for the fanboys.. They will waste money again.. Oh well.. ^^.

wasting chip size.. it will better to feature intel technology in power saving like using 1 of the 4 core when idle or using low cpu demand apps..
