I love reading the comments of any publication that respects Iphone, people start to argue if it is an overrated phone or if it is really an exclusive phone for the upper class.

-Trix-, 06 Mar 2022We aren't talking about Ferrari, we are talking about ... moreThen someone is manipulating the market, given how good Android has gotten.

By your logic, If most people are buying iphones in the flagship range, then who is the S22 Ultra for?

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2022Buying power determined by a phone that costs as low as 400... moreWe aren't talking about Ferrari, we are talking about the fact that average Apple user is more wealthier than Android user and it's a fact.

Android also haven't destroyed iOS, if that would be the case no-one would buy iPhone. In reality when people want to buy something better and are willing to pay for it most people prefer the iOS nowdays. Android flagship sales are down every year while iPhone sales are really high. It just shows Android flagship phones don't meet the value for the asking price and i'm not surprised $1000 for a phone and getting 2 years OS support is just pathetic, Especially when people keep their phones longer and longer.

Anonymous, 06 Mar 2022Buying power determined by a phone that costs as low as 400... more"As low as" and also "as high as" 1600€. Totally something anyone can afford, right? If that was the case, no one would be buying sub 300€ phones. Yet actual bulk of ALL phone sales are exactly these cheap phones. Nothing wrong with that and not with super expensive ones. But I absolutely despise pathetic people who brag about things based on cost of phone they not actually use, but know it exists. Because 90% of people bragging about expensive phones here look at phone listings and specs 24/7 on a 200€ budget phone and brag how that whatever 2000€ folding phone totally "owns" Apple just because it's the most expensive. That's just the (sad) reality.

Lol.... a Ferrari on the other hand is a status symbol for the rich, iPhone can be bought by anyone. Status-whoring people think iPhone makes them special.

AnonD-1030581, 06 Mar 2022Stop embarrassing yourself everybody can afford an 80$ and... moreSomehow, when I look at people owning iPhones, only a few of them are really rich and wealthy people. In Europe lower class people buy iPhones and then have to keep them for years, beaten to death, with broken glass front and back, scratches all over the frame, because they can't afford anything else.
And somehow, android phones are as much expensive as iPhones, but I don't see such damage on androids of the top class... how's that possible?

                              Nearly as often?

You have nothing to worry about burn ins, like 500 million iPhones with OLED have already been sold and we haven't seen any news about users having problem with that. You know we are talking about Apple here, if it would be real issue we would have read about it many many times over the years.

[deleted post]"misleading lies if you buy iphone doesn't mean you are rich its mean you are poor and apple is rich"

Not necessarily, but still doesn't change fact that average Apple user is lot wealthier than average Android user ;)

Apple will want you to keep updating the software and then battery life will be awful after 2 years.
