Today and every upcoming year. It’s common sense. People with more money tend to buy more expensive stuff. Android flagships aren’t selling well because there isn’t enough buying power like Apple have, because very big majority of Android users have $100-200 phone. Those aren’t potential consumers to buy $800-1000 flagship phone.

everybody can afford an 80$ android phone...but not quite anyone can afford to be in Apple ecosystem to buy an iphone that starts from 400$ and a mac thats starts from 1000$
Statistics shows that if you are poor you should buy an android and not an second iphone to show that you are something that you are not because your lifestyle eventually will show who you really are and whats your buying power

Everyone uses their phones in different ways , just because you don't rate security updates doesn't mean others should also think like you.

And the biggest difference is with video (only 9 hours for SE comparing to 10,5 for 8). That's simply tragic for a chipset built on a better process (5 nm).

Android phones are shit in the sense that they're getting bigger and bigger and out of reachability by one hand. Also Android devices are getting uglier with unnecessarily fancy looking backs and weird looking camera setups. iPhones are shit in the sense that they charge way more for a feature than expected. Imagine, charging 200$ extra for a telephoto lens, a Lidar, a 120 Hz display, a stainless steel frame and "a matte finish". However, the most viable options should be the iPhone 13, reduced priced iPhone 12/11 which don't boast of unnecessary stuffs keeping the prices somewhat reachable.
