"the same Snapdragon 690" What? why? It was horribly underpowered when it released last year... why relese a now phone at all if it looks like they improved nothing. The main problem with 10 II was that underpowered chipsed in tandem with way to high price for it. They lowered the price by like 100$ but like... that should have happen to the last year model anyway and it wast overpriced when it came out. They should have put something like SD 778G and sell it for the same 400$ like last model wich would make it ~50$ more expensive than A52s with the same chip is going for now and that would be so so much better that whatever they are doing according to this leak. But as it is rumored now this phone is useless :/
Quick addition: I re red the specs and it has 4000mAh ?! the III had 4500, this is just getting worse.
The change in pricing(wich if those leaked specs hold is still quite a bad price) as opposed to raising the specs makes even less sense if you look at Sony's model stack:
- xperia 1 for over 1000$
-xperia 5 for 999$
and now xperia 10 300$
unless they have a secret new xperia 7 IV for ~500$ with specs to mach price(so something better than previously mentioned by me 778G) this decision with 10 IV is absurd

Yup this is it! Hope Sony releases this phone early than wait for the end of this year! SD690 >>>>>>>>>> over SD695 or what ever Qualcomm released this year besides flagships are dump.

He really tried to make an argument on why Sony cameras are overpriced and that a cheaper and better alternative exists, but never actually provided a real example.

I feel like if it were priced between 199-249 dollars, it wouldn't be that bad of a phone to get but 300 is just quite too much for something that looks like it came out of 2015.

Redmi note 11 has:
- SD680 ( worse than 665)
- IP53 ( LOL, mi 12 pro has IP00)
- Gorilla 3 on screen (even the $207 ace2 has gg6)
- Cheap oled (boe or even worse )
- Jn1 + macro + depth
- Old bluetooth 5.0
- No 5G hardware
This same crap designed and assembled out of China would easily have retail price above $250. Now add better stuff and easily be $400 at least.
By the way. Happy to see that 12 Pro is gonna be €1100 for base 8/128?

Battery downgrade? Weird...choice...
At least the battery life of the 10 series usually doesn't disappoint so if that's the result of 2 more gigs of ram, stereo speakers, and camera hardware upgrade, that may not be a major deal.

Samsung uses M panels, the most expensive.
Still screen has poor calibration compared to other brands ( sony, bbk, xiaomi, apple and even google).
Also, no support for 10 bit ( by hardware or only software)
