Are they mad? Reduce all battery from s22 lineup then throttle it to save battery....
It's like thay saw Apple do this then hey, follow up but Android Soc aren't that efficient and there a lot of other android brand with larger battery unlike Apple that only brand with iOS.

So all yearly upgrades in SOC are useless because they are all burst performance scores. The main problem now is that, those chips which are only a more powerhog soc thats why it can achieve such scores in benchmarking app, but sustained performance is bad. switching GOS off for exynos and SD888 phones will likely result to a broken devices. Electronic devices doesn't want heat. Disabling GOS will wear your device prematurely.
The good thing is you have the choice.

Here's an idea: remove GOS entirely. It's as useful as Bixby.
Samsung should stick to hardware and leave software to the professionals.

Finally, i am waiting that update in my S20 fe 5g,Also we have to change resolution 16:9 1920×1080p or 16:9 1280×720p on our phones(actual resolution),for game perfomance and display powersave ,its oled by the way.

Hopefully this releases for all phones with GOS. I don't care if performance is the "same" because it's still stuttering for me. On my A52s, Genshin Impact Google Play version is being stuttered by GOS consistently (like a frame limiter but literally causing it to just stutter), while the Galaxy Store version doesn't have this issue.
Game booster is on "focus on performance", but makes no difference. I only see a difference when I kill GOS and immediately go back into the game.

Apple did the same thing when going from iphone 11 series to 12 series and what happened? battery life went down cuz battery size went down, then they increased the battery size on the 13 and WHAT HAPPENED?! battery life went up...wow its like battery life is tied to battery size more than anything else! Who would have guessed lol

every new generation of processor is more & more powerful but it comes with lots of heats issues & having experienced it since I started using note 5. speed & power is getting way ahead of cooling system & this is not good even though manufacturer has been touting power & efficiency but it's really not that true to a sense

I bought S22 and i'm dissapointed with battery life. Even with this GOS throttling apps, the phone last max 4:30h screen on time, which is less than my 2 year old S20 5G
