1. MacOS no more iTunes. iPhones can transfer directly to another iPhone without iTunes, can do it with a lightning cable / or restore from iCloud backup.
2. SD slots are not found on other major brands also.
3. MacOs to iPadOS to iOS transfer between them is simple and a breeze with nowadays continuity, airdrop, handover.

Literally, most android phone at the same price doesn’t have a telephoto cam (even if there is, 2x is a joke). I never prefer using ultra wide or others, especially the macro scam-cam.
And the processor is so good, paired with additional battery it’s a great deal.
My device now is Mi 10 bought with similar price to the SE, it’s just not good. I don’t like gaming on Mi 10, I don’t like to take pictures, which will embarrass myself.
The only thing worrying is still the battery. The display is no huge deal, since you’re likely getting some China display with bugged software, or you’re getting crappynos.

For example Redmi 9A-5000mah battery, 12nm cpu with eight A53 cores, that paired with a 720p screen can provide 7-8 hours screen on time easily with heavy usage.
The SE 2022 is still an iphone 6 with glass back, no 3.5 jack and new processor. A true meme device for tech illiterate people.
If someone is actually looking to buy an iphone, for even less than the price of a new SE 2022 you can get a refurbished iphone X/XS which either way is a device of different caliber compared to this recycled wreck of a phone.

I don't dislike the SE. It's an affordable iPhone and it provides great results when using it. The only thing that really bothers me for this phone is the ridicule battery and its autonomy. Besides that the issues I always had with Apple products remain being no SD card slot, no possibility to share content through bluetooth, iTunes dependency...

Better priced option is iPhone SE2. And better option all around is the iPhone 12 mini. For those who absolutely need or want small phones.
I had an iPhone 12 last year. Even though is very good iPhone, is not great phone in general. I wanted a phone for heavy gaming and watching movies. Display was very nice, but the battery was not that great. Not to mention the charging (almost 2h; and 1 charge didn't get me through all day, because like I said I am heavy gamer). Is more or less the same like the vanilla version of S series from Samsung (good phones, but average batteries). Thus being said I enjoyed more the iPhone 12 than my previous Galaxy S21. Still, it wasn't enough for me. Should have gone with Pro Max series (but the 11 Pro Max has bad batteries when buying second hand, around 82% and the 12 Por Max was too expensive imo).
iPhone SE3 it looks even worse for me than the iPhone 12 or even 12 mini (A15 chipset is for nothing inside it; even the A11 chipset in the iPhone 8 gets the job done perfectly, for basic stuff). Apple did a marketing thing with the including of A15, to get people to buy this particular model. And to be able to ask more money for it.

It uses latest and greatest Bionic chipset and runs same iOS as the models for 1600€. At least it doesn't pretend to be something that isn't. Unlike all the Android phones with faux 5x cameras and MegaSuperDuperAMOLED and then they slap a shitty SD 480 or Dimensity 700 in it that can barely run resolutions of said display. And brag about UFS 4000 while using some junk NAND that comes nowhere near speeds mentioned UFS can do. iPhone SE doesn't pretend about any of that. It's just iPhone 8 with more RAM and latest chipset. No one forces you to buy it, but if you want a small phone with iOS, it's a great option. I know it's difficult for ppl here to wrap their narrow minds around that, but people clearly want that.

If you want a true iphone you should pay real money and buy iPhone 13 pro series. If you don't want to spend that money apple gladly sell you an A15 chipset in a recycled iphone 7 package for 400-500 bucks!

Anonymous, 11 Mar 2022I'm not buying it because there are better alternative... moreI mean, most Android phones available at around 429USD are midrange devices (e.g.: Galaxy A72, Mi 11 Lite 5G) or old flagships that are not supported well, if at all, by the OEM (e.g.: Galaxy S10 5G just received its LAST Android version update in January; OnePlus 8 is choking on the haphazardly put-together OOS 11 and 12 Public Beta). The "budget flagship" devices which have Snapdragon 870/888 cost over 700USD in many places.
The fact remains, NOTHING can touch the SE 2022 at its price point in terms of raw performance and gaming chops...
