Have an iPhone 7 since 2018. Had enough of that design. There are improvements with the new design, such as the keyboard is less cluttered with certain elements being moved to where the bottom bezel and button used to reside. Both CC and NC and swiped down from top left and right. On iPhone 7 design the CC is swiped up from the bottom and that’s annoying as the finger can touch other things on the way, specially if the keyboard is up. Considering the iPhone 11. I prefer a smaller phone but I’ll work with it. Anyway bigger phone still means bigger, more comfortable screen for viewing and typing. There’s no way to know wether there’ll be an XR based SE in 2024 or at anytime.
So the jump to an iPhone 11 it is.

I would save some more money to get the iPhone 11 to be honest, the performance is not as good, but it's better at almost every single aspect. Or just buy a new Android midrangers, Android midrange phones now are also really good, too.

By the way the iPhone SE also has a 7000 series aluminum chassis because this has been here since the iPhone 6s (reaction to bend gate)
