Phone with 64GB internal storage in 2022! Even with expandable storage / SD Card, this storage capacity is useless. 128 GB should have been the minimum storage for any phone with or without expandable storage in 2022.

There is no question it's very powerful, but rather unbalanced device. It'll be fast through entire years of life and it'll get superb software support, but battery is lacking, camera is starting to age a bit (even if only main camera without any extra ones) and chin and forehead are a bit thick now. Only makes sense if you want iOS device for as little money possible, even if that means saving just few €.

Stores that sell new SE for around 510-530€ are following this rule. Others are just slapping extra premiums on it because corona and war and s**t and they want to squeeze more from it.
America doesn't list anything with any tax. It's why you get stupid s**t like seeing something advertised for one price and then you pay something else because they slap extra tax on it. But depends on state. In EU, it's the same across all states, they only vary by few % between them for VAT. And prices are always advertised with VAT included.

The 128GB one should arrive where I am for no less than 600$US. For some reason Samsung phones are priced accordingly but iPhones are extra expensive. A 128GB iPhone 11 costs 630$. If one doesn’t mind a large and heavy phone, there’s really no debate, unless one wants the full period of software updates.

squeezing out as much money from the eu market as they can. the eur is more valuable than dollar, apple use several tax avoidances to pay tiny amounts of tax on eu profits, and still the phone is ~25% more expensive.
in the end it's your money and you decide what you spend it on, but as a customer you should definitely be aware of how greedy and dishonest apple's pricing and practices are.

Just a little bit more expensive you have iPhone 12 mini and iPhone 11, both still available in my country (around 50EUR more). Around 120EUR more will get you an iPhone 12. So, if you have 530EUR to splash on an iPhone like SE3 (which is pretty basic stuff, except the A15), you will certainly find another 120EUR or so, to buy the iPhone 12, which is in another galaxy compared to the iPhone SE3.
And I don't even want to get into Android phone prices, because it will make the iPhone SE3 even more useless to buy at this European prices.
The only reason I can see for someone to buy this, is if they are coming from something like iPhone 6s, 7 or even 8 and they absolutely need or like this form factor. But, even in this case, you have the iPhone SE2, which will probably be cheaper now (maybe 360EUR). This is a better value now than the almost 550EUR iPhone SE3, lol.

530€ to 700€?! Are you kidding me right now... I can find iPhone 13 for 700€ here (even less than 700€) that's crazy. And for 530€ there are much better options like iPhone 11 or adding a bit more for iPhone 12.
