Xiaomi Watch S1 and Watch S1 Active review

The bang-for-buck kings of wearables.

Looks and sounds good, until I read they "use a proprietary OS".
Samsung's TizenOS on their watch was good, and so is watchOS from Apple, but besides those two proprietary options I wouldn't want anything else. Xiaomi should've gone with AndroidWear but I get it. Their government has banned Google Services in China about 20 years ago, so they came up with this solution. Still it's a deal-breaker.

But then I read "with a preloaded set of apps and no way of installing new ones".
Yah, no thanks. This is a pretty DumbWatch if it cannot do some fundamentals.

The amazfit gtr 3 pro is another nice option aswell
