20 March 2022
The phone had an unblemished Infinity display - no notches, no holes - and it still kept bezels thin all around.

I read your text from my Samsung A80. Its a good phone , i bought it 2 years ago for 280€ und really no need to upgrade.
Usually ich upgrade my Mid- range phone every 1.5 year but this one still modern in 2022 or maybe better than the mid- rangers.

Cool, have a case on it. Then do not complain when case keeps heat from going away.

There are brands screen stops working when front glass breaks.
So, sometimes you see devices with better glass on front, instead of equal on both sides.
Also, this saves money to the OEM.

Ahh we live in a world where people openly accept fragile glass backs

But for whatever reason we cannot accept that humanity has the technology to make moving parts durable for years

Smh we have cars with constant moving little parts

But we would rather take fragile glass backs to then put a plastic case on it for durability SMH

All while these glass back repairs cost 300 dollars SMH

companies should bring back and improve on flip, popup and all kind of unique camera tricks so we can have a full screen without any disturbance in it, until the udc tech matures enough to be available for cheap phones and not just flagships.

Yeah...when Samsung was unique...aaaaaaaah...I miss when smartphones were unique....

This phone is odd in a few ways. Like how it had the (at the time) latest Gorrila Glass 6 on the back, but the old Gorilla Glass 3 introduced in 2013 for the display glass.

The idea of using the high quality rear camera as a front camera for selfies while having a nonintrusive display is 👌🤌

I had a chance to hold A80 once and see some features, it was heavy on the back as hell, it was so uncomfortable holding it. Something about the display was off to me, i had Galaxy A71 that time and you could tell the difference between like corners or else but that's just my taste.
Overall, that was pretty unique design back then and i think it still is, considering how many androids looks the same nowadays. That camera was a bit annoying since you could hear the camera coming up, sounded like the saw.
And for the last this device wasn't popular here at all, you could barely see any of these in stores or people having it. It was literally a rare phone.
