That's because high end Apple devices have not been using cheap low-quality Samsung garbage but probably an improved version of it. I made the mistake of buying an S20FE thinking it has a high quality super amoled with 120Hz refresh rate only to realize it is all fake. I had to go see a doctor and get my eyes tested to believe my eyes are fine and my blurry vision is a result of Samsung innovations!

It is not limited to those example. Read about Samsung FreeStyle and how they advertise 550 lumen but don't tell you it's their own measurement unit which is different than ANSI Lumen!!
Today I am a victim of Samsung scam tomorrow you might be the target by ordering a relatively cheaper iphone believing in their false advertisements.
GSMARENA is also to be blamed for shallow and superficial reviews. They either don't have proper tools to measure and spot false advertisement, don't want to or can't afford it or maybe even prefer to be part of companies marketing strategies. In any case, I will no longer trust their reviews.

Why would Samsung use it on the S22 when the quality of it as a selfie camera is bad? Why do you think that the UD camera is only 4 MP. It makes sense for the Fold3 because it has a normal selfie camera. Anyway, cherrypicking a few examples and extrapolate your criticism to all Android phone manufactures is ridiculous. You clearly expose yourself as an Android phone hater, and people won't take your comments seriously.

ZTE was a fi... moreGreat, so ZTE was among first. Then why is their Axon 30 Ultra without it and so is the Axon 30 Pro? Only regular Axon 30 has UD. It's same nonsense all Android phone makers do. Some arbitrary throwing around of functions that are half baked. ZTE nearly perfected second gen and then decided not to us eit on 2/3 of their "flagship" products. Makes zero sense.
Same for Samsung. They made UD selfie in one model, yet their flagship Ultra doesn't have it.

Also, the pop-up didn't really catch on. With Apple insisting on the notch (because of Face ID) and Samsung offering the cutout as a less intrusive alternative, the pop-up felt like an over-engineered solution since people were willing to pay top prices for inelegant (notch and cutout) compromises.
Economics of scale took over and condemned the pop-up to be only a fancy fad.

FaceID is a gimmick. iPhones have never had a card slot. Apple copied the removal of the jack.

Probably because they haven't released the successor to that Fold yet, unless you're talking about UDC not appearing on the S22 series.
There will very likely be a UDC on the Z Fold4, and there's a possibility it can appear on the S23 series.

Just look at Pixel's Project Soli nonsense. They had depth aware face unlock with it for 1 model. And then they dropped it. Samsung had UD selfie cam on one Fold. And then didn't follow up with it. Everyone still mocks Apple for FaceID with masks, but they keep on insisting on it and being consistent with it and it is still here for generations and it's just getting better. The competition is only consistent at copying Apple and copying that consistently. Like removing audio jack and SD card slot and they are super consistent with that for some reason but not with the rest...
