Secondly,if your "important features" argument include the headphone jack and Sd card slot, everyone has also removed it,now I don't know if your that Goes for all the others include apple and Samsung I assume you do,so it makes you less of a hypocrite.
Thirdly, software support: a fair majority of Chinese companies match Samsung in updates for Thier flagship offerings so your point is mostly invalid (unless you're counting mid-rangers)
Your last point,I could say the same for Samsung, apple what do they give? Underpowered specs?,the only reason why I would get a Samsung is software support and yet even Chinese companies are upping Their support so it's not a large difference, you people can't hold Samsung and apple to the same scrunity just because your mentality is "Chinese bad"

blue, 28 Mar 2022Three companies sharing less than one third of the market b... moreBruh. Under display camera, ultra wide, reverse wireless charging, high resolution sensors, big sensors, high refresh rate, high touch refresh rate, fast charging (wired and wireless), periscope cameras all trends Chinese manufacturers established. What did Apple, Google and Samsung did? 1000+ price tag? No 3.5mm? No charger? Maybe night mode but huawei pushed forward.

And about what you said about the percentages, you talked about Chinese phones, I talked about Chinese phones. Apple has 22% now xiaomi has 12 but there was a time half a year ago when Apple had 15 and xiaomi 16. And again, xiaomi sells no phones in America because the government threatened them. Just image if Apple couldn't sell in China.

      P. S. BBK, Chinese company, combine the market share of vivo and oppo, realme they exceed apple and Samsung.

Software optimizations and update punctuality needs to be looked at Realme. Don't neglect it.

Hoping Realme would add options to micro manage your charging. Like if you would use how much of a wattage and when do you want it to complete charging and make profiles for it.

The guy commenting about-people don't buy flagships just because they "can't afford it" is so f@#$ing lame, lol!!
Many people just don't see the need to spend/waste money on a $800-1000+ phone even though they can afford the much more expensive foldables too!
Some people do spend money wisely u know!
My dad went from a Nokia 3310, 1100, 3230, 6600, N72, E71, SG SII, Lumia 925 (just b4 1020 launched), Moto G Turbo, Nokia 8.1 (still using almost 3 yrs later). Even though he was earning more every year, he decided after the SII and Lumia, that there was no point spending so much on a phone, so he "downgraded" to the Moto and then later bought the 8.1 on sale for $250! He can go out and buy a brand new E-Class without a loan, but he doesn't, instead we have 2 cars-a MPV and a small hatch for a combined price of

Or remember when huawei was on top, you know, before the ban right after they surpassed apple. Or when xiaomi was number one on shipments last year.

The best part is that all those Chinese brands are so big without selling their phones in America, the most lucrative smartphone market.

I like the design and the main camera. I don't like the huge size and I seriously don't like the 8mp ultrawide, I mean come on, if you're gonna put it, it should be at least 12mp. I would rather take panoramic shots than use an 8mp imager to shoot a larger frame.

What we get now? Ten Xiaomi 11s, all the same, and all missing important features. New generation ends exactly the same way. And that goes for all others. How long they are supported? Two years max? And then buy a new one... No, thank you.
It's easy to be a chinese hater, because they offer nothing to be happy about.

And what else? Poor cameras (again the useless 2 MPix macro cam), no water resistence, no software support, and if so, all updates are extremely buggy. Many controls are absolutely out of any logic. No, thank you. The money spent for a Samsung are well spent.
Putting new and powerful hardware together is easy. Putting it together so it works well, that's some state of art, that chinese companies still did not learn.

Nothing wrong with paying three times more for something important that you use every day for many hours. And that's three times of something that costs 300 euros, not 30 thousand euros, so the difference is 600 euros. Everyone would spend 600 euros, if they can afford it. Problem is, many can't afford it. And people commenting on this forum, 99% of them cant afford it. Hence they don't get it.

And there's nothing wrong with Chinese cheaper options generally for general use... Just don't buy budget crap, stick to upper midrange, around 300-400 euros. Again, don't buy budget crap, cause that's really a crap. Rather save for longer so you can afford the 300 euros equivalent..

When buying Chinese brands, only buy the models that are released globally. Chinese and Indian variants are always mistreated in terms of software support. Despite those two countries having half the world's population, its ordinary people sadly are always treated like sheep, motto being, just give them something cheap and let them puss off, since they don't know any better. Sad but true. Hence only buy the globally released phones, since Europe has the most stringent quality standards and controls, they can't get away with it there as blatantly as they can in China and India.

Anonymous, 28 Mar 2022Ah yes a Chinese hater, going to get his/her money wasted o... moreMoney is not wasted. Money is for spending. You're only as rich as the money you spend. Everyone would ger a flagship phone, but reality is lots of people can't afford one. So neither flagships are a waste of money, nor good so called Chinese flagship killers are crap. It all comes down to what one can afford. Everything else is idiots with nothing better to do, sparring with one another, like they have a stake in xiaomi or samsung and apple, where in fact, they don't have money, and have nothing better to do. I suggest, use the time, to find extra, so you can move up in life, so you can afford better things in life, and I'm not talking phones. Phone is just a phone. I'm talking life, travel, eat well, having fun.. That all costs money, but it's what makes the life..

Pumpino, 27 Mar 2022Despite the merger, I hear a lot more complaints about bugs... moreIf you're a native English speaker it might just be because OnePlus is more popular in these parts of the world. More English speakers having OP phones leads to more English speakers running into bugs on OP software. I have a Realme phone (Q3 Pro) which I just blasted with the Pixel Experience GSI ROM this past week. I was pretty disappointed with the phone as a whole before that. I won't say Realme UI had any bugs, but it had a lot of EXTREME annoyances compared to stock Android. Apps closing in background; they all need to be manually individually configured to behave normally. App autostart blocked by default; individual manual configuration required again here. Apps don't have lockscreen notifications by default; manual change per app. Lockscreen notifications disappear after unlocking the phone once even if you don't interact with the notification. Camera beauty mode cannot be completely disabled. Only 5 total applications can have autostart. I don't have a problem with different defaults, but it shouldn't be such a chore to make the phone behave normally. The Realme Q3 Pro has amazing performance, but sadly the only 2 games I sometimes play both have 120fps enabled by whitelist only. So even though the phone is more than capable of hitting 120fps, I am unable to. I don't understand the purpose of this practice, but I guess it is what it is.

There's only one faster chip than it by competition, that's latest snapdragon gen 1. This 8100 Mt is on par with sd888 speedwise, while being more efficient in terms of battery consumption. And this Mt chip does not compete with the latest sd chip. So again, behind what competition? This phone neo 3, assuming it works well WHICH WE will find out when released and tested, but specs wise, is the best price / performance ratio phone EVER released, beating the poco f3 of last year. Redmi K50 will come close, depending what you prefer, slightly sharper screen as it has qhd, or quicker charging and better camera. And miui on redmis is always buggy. Again assuming realme software is any better. But those two, best price /performance ratio phones ever. Them two are of course for people that can't afford anything more expensive. If you can afford a flagship, go get one, get on with your life..
