They should give 3.5 mm in 12 lite, otherwise many Fans will be disappointed. Since lite means a lite version they must and should give 3.5mm jack. Instead of Dolby vision they can give Dolby Atmos Sound with 3.5 mm jack.

Put 3.5mm jack & sd slot then this will be gold if sold cheaper than A52s.

Still perfectly satisfied with 11 lite 5g, 8gb. Its a Xiaomi's budget masterpiece. Only flaw is it's width.

Spanky, 27 Mar 2022It’s the same bloody chip as in last year’s Lite model!!! 😭... moreQualcomm really dropped the ball when they had to replace the SD 780 with 778. Nobody seems to care that the graphics performance also dropped with over 20%

SD 778G will be perfectly Ok. Then surprise us with a Sony IMX 766 50MB as primary camera with OIS. Keep the weight below 170 g and use a LTPO screen. Then I might be tempted to upgrade from my Mi 11 Lite 5G.

Well if it's the same chip at least I expect better cameras, slightly bigger battery and a slightly better screen than the mi 11 with active refresh rate. Xiaomi should price it well as other midrange phones will come with OIS cameras and nearly flagship level antutu scores.

really hope still have the same small screen like Xiaomi 12, it's really hard to find decent compact mid-range phones nowadays

It’s the same bloody chip as in last year’s Lite model!!! 😭 (The Mi 11 Lite had the 780, but was re-launched with the 778, which is pretty much the same SoC)

I was looking forward to this phone, but not with the same SoC as last year. If you can’t significantly increase performance, it’s of no use to me. And I see the same trend with the Redmi K50/Poco F4 series: Qualcomm dropped the ball this time, only MediaTek has new SoCs in the flagship killer segment.

It is kind of strange to 'make' the same phone after a year with different name. Who is gonna buy this if there is 11 lite 5g and 5g NE?

I dislike curved screens since Samsung invented them.
They are not only slippery but also less durable.
Curve is always a weak point same goes for curved screen protector which usualy breaks when you try to push bubbles out of curves and you use a bit more force than you wanted.
Dont know like rest of the world but i would never ever buy a curved screen phone.
