And so, when a new one comes out, you'll receive a new one and the old one would most probably be refurbished and sold with a very insignificant price drop. So yeah, they figured out a way to make even more money out of their hardware....

Like how samsung quietly demoted 3.5mm jacks to midrangers and budget models. Now the midrangers are losing them and soon the budget as well. Nobody pointed a gun but they are able to move users into wireless stuff with this move.

guys it's just like renting iphone, and you get free update as long as you pay the subscription fee. it's just like verizon or at&t program but comes directly from Apple

OK but what about domination of the market what happen to non smart phones,
in the west European nations? In the UK Nokia were kings now it's Apple Samsung Huawei etc now no smart phones are given away and you have to buy £20 top up or on a very cheap contract you can still buy cheap now smart phones but the market is getting smaller.
Nokia are now releasing cheap devices with 4G.
Market's can transform.
Consider how people used to buy music now most people use a streaming service less and less people buy physical CD's

For sake of greed and even more greed they went with their overpriced cloud storage and people paid because they were forced to.
It was either delete your photos and videos or store them in expensive cloud storage which doesnt works everywhere especialy in countries where is no signal for internet or if you did not paid for internet use etc.
But to continue my friend apple werent first with non removable batteries they only helped popularize this trend just like Notch where Essential phone were again first but since apple started using Notch all jumped on this bandvagon.
But there were several phones before with non-removable batteries like Vertu Constelation from 2006 and in 2007 before apple came with Iphone two more Vertu phones come with non removable batteries.
When comes to no charger in box again apple helped popularize this trend but they werent first and they were first.

According to topic i send back in 2017 some students invented phone which have zero battery inside thus does not needs to charge anymore. But thats was a phone made for pure research purpose not for sale among people.
Same can be said about Meizu Zero which had to be first phone with 100% sealed everything thus no charger, no jack, no nothing else just a 100% sealed phone without any single hole not even for sim slot or memory slot.
But due to failure of accumulating money Meizu zero never came to the light of the world.
So again apple helped popularize this trend but they werent first with this idea.
I found some other topics about some phones back from 90s era without a charger but also for research purposes and nothing else.
Then for next 25 years noone ever thinking about a phone without a charger.
Lastly about jack is true. Since first phones came with jack some were had it some not.
As time flew more and more phones commign with jack until apple removed it completely and nowdays for sake of selling bluetooth and wireles audio they dont put it back.
So yes apple customers are morons who dont care their slavemaster robs them from mandatory things like sealed batteries, SD Cards, 3,5MM jack and many else essential things which most android phones still have. And they will pay anyway because of apple logo on it.
In other words as apple sheep would say i rather will live with broken leg or sell my kidney but will buy apple phone no matter what even if i have to start bank robbery.

No, it's not just for social media, but he does raise a very valid point though.
These days, we can "hang out" with groups of friends and not even be in the same room or city or even country. It's no surprise there is so much Social Anxiety nowadays as people have become so accustomed to not having to physically be next to someone to interact with them.

Plenty of much cheaper phones out there. I pay 10.99 a month for a sim only deal. I bought my phone a Poco F3 for 280 euros. I'll spend less in 2 years on my phone deal than a customer on a Telco contract for an iPhone 13 pro max will pay in 6 months. You can give out about their vulgar greed all you want but nobody is forcing you to own an iPhone.

Sadly, consumers will pay it. Apple have sculpted that desirable brand name and image everyone wants to be a part of. People will forgive them for anything. First company to remove an SD card slot in favour of their own charged cloud service, a proprietary apple only charging standard, first company to introduce integrated sealed batteries, first company to remove a charging brick from the phone contents listing or packaging. Offering a one year warranty on what 8s most often a minimum 2 year contract device. Also removed the 3.5mm earphone jack. They will do it and people will moan for a bit and buy their stuff anyway so can you blame them? They're not greedy but their customers are morons.
